A Broom Cost €1000 In This Game! Or 1500, i don't remember but they cost a lot at first ;) This is far the most relaxing game in the witch mania that I ever expected. There is no rush, there are certain deadlines but very calming and soothing music to soothe your soul. Even though the game does not seems to be challenging, it can be especially if you are a first time player. So embrace the witchhood with your faithful pet crow at your side to finish this important side quest in your life! Story: Very Witchy The story follows a young apprentince witch of a reputable witch family who is sent to a remote village to perform the moon and harvest festivals. Of course the villagers does not trust her fully and she needs to earn it by helping them with their problems and make the festivals a success. The story is pretty linear, light hearted and has possibility of dating 2 males and 1 female, or if you prefer you can be friends with one of them and just let the story flow. I think there are two endings one good and one neutral. No bad ending, if seeing the sad faces of the villagers count then yes that can be considered a bad ending. Gameplay: Potions! First you are introduced to the warm and lovely cottage where you can tend to a garden, make your own altar, change your clothes and brew potions! Okay its not only potions, but there are charms, oils and incense but you get the drift. You harvest the materials/flowers/herbs from the garden. You are pretty much mailed orders from villagers every day which you must fulfill before the moon festival. On the second part you have to make enchanted items which needs more crafting materials. Don't forget to feed your crow everyday! You must IN PERSON deliver the orders and check on them the next day if it worked. You earn money and you need to do some budgeting and save up for the part 2 of the story. Dialogue options should be checked carefully for each person in the second stage. Enchanted items should be crafted fully and delivered for a good ending. My only complain is the fact that there is no fast forward button, for some people it's the "X" button but i tested every key and that didnt work. The game also has an endless mode so you can play it without pressure. And lastly, you have your own tarot deck at the altar and you can check your future. There is also a store where you can buy crafting materials. There is no save and load option so that makes it a bit tiring with achievements. Characters: Memorable Characters are very memorable and each have their own issues, some are supernatural even, some requires a bit of mental first aid. I liked Devin and Jonas. Jonas is just too macho-humorish, but is cute. Devin is the type of guy you need to date to have a peaceful life. There is also; Mel: the office woman, her husband who is a silent baker. The village head; who changes personalities now and then and her grand daughter Neisha who is a painter with a mystery embedded in her studio. There is minor character development and the story focuses on YOUR relationship with them. Art and Music: Antique/Calm I loved the art, idk if the correct word is antique but thats the best way I can describe it. You go to your house and it's so drawn beautifully that you can just stay there and chill. The garden is so warm and happy. The art really is beautiful. The music is slow guitar and calm. Idk if it's hand-drawn but I must say even the character sprites looked unique and nice. Achievements: Repetitive I think most achievements would not be hard, but it requires you to play the game over and over fully from the start to get the achievements. You can fiddle and keep save files to load the game at a specific point if you like as a solution. This is one of the games where I couldn't figure out what to do at first and got the bad ending first lmao. Overall Witchy life story is a modern day witch simulator where you can craft and manage your way into witch hood while helping a peaceful village overcome it's challenges. This is what you should play if you need a break from life or hard core gaming to make your life a slow little ASMR for a while. It's vibrant art, light hearted story premise and soothing music will make you feel that daily tiredness disappear like a vanishing spell!

I love this little gem. I read some of the other reviews, and saw a bunch that listed little bugs or annoying dialogue options. Honestly I didn't notice any of that. I can say I wish there were a few more clothing options for your character, but that's not really a big deal. It would also be nice if there was a little notes section that recorded the meanings of colors and planets, but again, that doesn't impact game play at all. I recommend that you play several in-game days each real day. Take your time and don't rush it. At least the first time through. Otherwise I could see it getting a little repetitive.

I like this game a lot and would recommend it to anyone that finds it interesting. I'm a sucker for the whole "local witch moves to town and fixes everyone's problems" plot, plus the art style is really cute. I enjoy the gameplay loop of gardening, potion-making, and talking to everyone each day. The main character and Jonas are meant to be, and they're just super cute together. It's a small game and it doesn't try to be something it's not, which I appreciate. When I first played through the full thing, I finished it easily in a day. All that said, getting 100% in this game is a total slog, to the point I don't think you're meant to. There is no save slot function, but even if there was, the choices you make throughout the whole game influence the ending. I made backup saves of the last few days in my computer files and I still basically had to speedrun the whole game multiple times in a row to attend the festival with everyone as friends and as dates. Also, the ending scenes with everyone as friends and as dates are all virtually the same, leading me back to I think you're only really supposed to play this once and you're not really missing out on anything if you do. Getting the failing achievements was harder than I thought it'd be, but it was kind of a funny addition lol. All that is a bit nitpicky. I think you'll have an awesome time with this game if you play through it ONE time lol.

Short but sweet game! I got this on sale. I enjoyed my play through and feel I got my moneys worth. This game was cute. I wish there was more options but was fun none the less. I with that there was an optional save instead of just auto.

Witchy Life Story is an adorable, wholesome game where you take on the role of a witch sent to help out the small town of Flora with the harvest festival. The Story You play as a young witch for the famous family of Von Teasel’s. You're on a quest to help the small town of Flora with their annual harvest festival that has been dwindling over recent years. Not a quest that you volunteered for but one you got roped into by dear old grandma. During your stay in the town you have the opportunity to find romance. Three love interests are available. Neisha, an overly stressed artist. Devin, the personable yet anxious musician and Jonas, the construction worker. This game is wholesome fun for everyone. It encompasses elements of various genres and mixes them together. It has some visual novel elements, crafting, dating and gardening. But at its core it is mostly a visual novel. Gameplay & Features Your day starts off daily with a letterbox full of requests from the town folk. The crafting mini-game is simple in nature. You receive requests for potions, oils, incense and charms. You harvest plants and buy ingredients from the local shop to concoct your creations alongside your trusty grimoire. As you deliver the orders to the residents you will engage in conversations that develop your relationships with the town folk and potentially a love interest. One feature I do have to highlight in this game is how much real life advice is strewn throughout. The game does deal with characters struggling with anxiety and stress. As a witch you do craft potions and such for them but you also talk about real life relaxing techniques like envisioning exercises and meditation. Menu options are basic but include audio controls and gamepad options for those using a controller. It is a point and click game so I used my mouse. Also this game auto-saves (no saving manually). Gameplay Tips n Tricks * Crystals are important. If you feed Ramey every day he’ll provide you with crystals once every few days * On day 10 you will get a pamphlet in the mail advertising a sale at the antique shop. This makes getting items much more affordable if you wait for it. * Once you’ve unlocked the ability to enchant the enchantment requests will not show up in your letterbox but in your grimoire under the “orders” tab * Don’t go crazy buying extra potions bottles, sachets, oil bottles or incense holders. You start off with three free ones and buying an additional 3 will be more than enough at a time to fulfill all our orders. The Visuals & Audio You start off the game customizing your character’s appearance. And this is where a part of this game shines! There are a variety of skin tones, body types, and hairstyles. And lots of outfits. In game you can also change your looks as you play. So much stylish goodness. The art style is wholesome, hand drawn and vibrant. The music was…okay. It is a soundtrack of instrumentals that are charming. Overall Experience I enjoyed this game. It was relaxing and wholesome. A feel good game that has some valuable insights to teach as play. It also teaches some great meditation and visualization techniques for coping with stress, anxiety and self confidence. Achievement hunters take note! The only drawback to the game is having to replay it more than once to fulfill all the achievements. Since the game auto-saves and you cannot create manual saves you have to replay the whole game again multiple times to get the different outcomes and all achievements. Not a tactic for replay value that I am fond of. I got this game on sale and recommend getting it on sale. The first run took me about five hours to complete (probably a bit less as I was writing this review in between playing). But a relaxing time for a few hours of fun that everyone can enjoy. 🌼 Please follow our curator page, [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/4680120/]Otome Lovers , if you'd like to see more reviews like this one!
