I love this game way more than I expected I would. Especially after seeing the publisher has released about twohundredthirtyeightthousand "simulator" games. I was kinda worried this would be AI trash or something but actually this is a pretty well thought out modern simulator game that can be absolutely hilarious at times trying to run an actual graveyard and be the funeral home too. The automation and employee hiring is also surprisingly OP here and lets you build up your graveyard to be borderline automatic (But not quite). One issue I have with these games is they all seem to nerf and limit the automation side of things which leads to some serious tedium for me by 10-15 hours. But Zombie Graveyard Simulator gives you all the options to run a smooth mom and pop body shop (GETIT? HA!). The addition of the night time zombie defense mode is pretty brilliant and fun. The defensive traps / machines combined with the nature of the graveyard spawning area allow for some actual creativity with defenses. This allows some funneling maze builds or just OP window stoppers once you get to late game with the high end turrets. Once again by the end of the game, (If you plan out a good defense build) You can let the graveyard defend itself, join in as you please, etc. The weapons are nothing that will blow your mind, but they are still balanced well and a blast to...well.... walk in and start blastin! All these kinda "OP" things the game give this one a tad bit more of a sandbox feeling that makes you want to tinker around and play with things and just makes you feel like you have a little more freedom and choice than most of these other simulator games. The dev here is also pretty awesome. They dropped an update that possibly had some backwards compatibility issues with game saves not working with new content. Not only did they respond to the original criticism I had directly but also clarified the issues as well. So it's awesome to see a dev actually paying attention and helping with issues/concerns people have instead of just ignoring it like most would. Lastly this is not an early access game but the dev has a roadmap of updates, and the updates I've seen are all pretty substantial and fun! NOT TO MENTION FREE! You're not gonna go wrong with this one, buy it!

Fun little game, a little buggy but the dev's are quick to address such issues, posted about 2 i found on thier discord, both hotfixed in the same day. good job guys, keep it up!

I put a few hours into the prologue so I knew I was going to buy this as soon as it came out. It has a really satisfying gameplay loop and for those who just like the simulator part but not the shooter aspect (like me) the relaxed mode makes it so much easier. I'm really enjoying it so far.
