Recommended 👍 | 11 hours played | 100% completed Zombie Graveyard Simulator is one of those games that sounds weird on paper but ends up being oddly satisfying once you’re actually playing it. Managing a graveyard during the day and fighting off zombies at night is a fun mix of chill management and light action. I really enjoyed balancing burials, visitor satisfaction, farming, staff management, and upgrading defenses. The loop works well: daytime feels productive and cozy, while nighttime keeps you on edge. The weapon variety is decent, defenses are fun to set up, and the whole “graveyard business during a zombie apocalypse” theme is surprisingly charming. That said, the game is very buggy in its current state. I ran into several issues that forced me to restart my save a couple of times, which can be frustrating. Some mechanics also feel a bit rough or unfinished. Despite that, I still managed to 100% the game in about 11 hours, and honestly? I had fun doing it. The core mechanics are solid, and once the bugs are ironed out, this could be a really great simulator. If you enjoy management sims with a twist and don’t mind some rough edges, this is worth picking up, just expect a few hiccups along the way.

Funny thing about this game is that i found it 1 time and lost it like i could not remember the name and when i found it again i got hooked its a fun graveyard + zombie simulator and i hope others try it

super nice structure and flow levelling up is exponential so later on you need levels more than money to upgrade, but i dont find it too grindy. im not an fps shooter person, more like stardew valley, the sims 4 and terraria. regardless i still really enjoy this <3

I love this game way more than I expected I would. Especially after seeing the publisher has released about twohundredthirtyeightthousand "simulator" games. I was kinda worried this would be AI trash or something but actually this is a pretty well thought out modern simulator game that can be absolutely hilarious at times trying to run an actual graveyard and be the funeral home too. The automation and employee hiring is also surprisingly OP here and lets you build up your graveyard to be borderline automatic (But not quite). One issue I have with these games is they all seem to nerf and limit the automation side of things which leads to some serious tedium for me by 10-15 hours. But Zombie Graveyard Simulator gives you all the options to run a smooth mom and pop body shop (GETIT? HA!). The addition of the night time zombie defense mode is pretty brilliant and fun. The defensive traps / machines combined with the nature of the graveyard spawning area allow for some actual creativity with defenses. This allows some funneling maze builds or just OP window stoppers once you get to late game with the high end turrets. Once again by the end of the game, (If you plan out a good defense build) You can let the graveyard defend itself, join in as you please, etc. The weapons are nothing that will blow your mind, but they are still balanced well and a blast to...well.... walk in and start blastin! All these kinda "OP" things the game give this one a tad bit more of a sandbox feeling that makes you want to tinker around and play with things and just makes you feel like you have a little more freedom and choice than most of these other simulator games. The dev here is also pretty awesome. They dropped an update that possibly had some backwards compatibility issues with game saves not working with new content. Not only did they respond to the original criticism I had directly but also clarified the issues as well. So it's awesome to see a dev actually paying attention and helping with issues/concerns people have instead of just ignoring it like most would. Lastly this is not an early access game but the dev has a roadmap of updates, and the updates I've seen are all pretty substantial and fun! NOT TO MENTION FREE! You're not gonna go wrong with this one, buy it!

The game is basic, but in a weird way it works. I did not think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. It gives you just enough to do and build up to make the primary game loop enjoyable. Sure there are many ways to cheese the system and make the game easy. There is also not much to build up and be proud for. It sets you on a soft grind to create a fun experience.
