Dread Flats is a tense, atmospheric horror game with some seriously gorgeous graphics and visual effects. The opening section nails the psychological horror vibe—slow, tense, and creepy in all the right ways. Every sound and shadow keeps you on edge, and it feels like something is always lurking just out of sight. The second half leans more into survival horror. Usually I’m not big on that, but it still worked here. The pacing stayed intense, and it added a different kind of tension that kept things fresh until the end. For a first game from the developer, this is an easy recommendation for any horror fan. Plus, there’s free DLC on the way, which is always a bonus.

Hands down one of the most stressful and scariest games I have ever played! This goes up there with the classics from n4ba and others. AND DREAD FLATS WAS YOUR FIRST GAME!? Actually crazy. Phenomenal job. I will be eagerly waiting for the next horror game you release! 10/10 Me and my community loved this!

not too bad for your first game and i don't wanna act like it's not an indie game so i'll give a proper review instead of criticising every single detail the game has. PROS +some of the jumpscares were unexpected and startled me +the tall mannequin look-a-like creatures were eerie, unsettling and had pretty cool design. it was smart to place them in the hall and to make them look at you whenever you're looking at them. if i had a fear of mannequins i'd probably wouldn't be able to look at the screen from that point on. +the lobotomy thing was well thought, creepy and disturbing in a cool way if that makes sense. CONS -the game got too repetitive. the chain of events were all the same for a while. "hear marble sounds - find out where it's coming from - go have a look at the marbles - power goes out - go to the security room to turn the power on - go to your room. and maybe a jumpscare/small scary event between these events happen once in a while" -the game tells the creature we see later on is blind and is triggered via sound. but when i stand still looking forward to it without making a sound when it's back is turned against me and it decides to turn towards me it gets triggered and starts coming my way while i'm not making a single sound. so the creature being blind detail was a bit unnecessary i didn't need to know that detail to complete the runaway situation. -we didn't get much information about why these things are actually happening and the gameplay felt a bit short/rushed. -poor translation and hud but these can be overlooked since it's your first game. i'm sure you guys can fix these issues in your further projects. it was a fun experience!

It's truly a short game, not even for 2 hours. But still one of the best experiences I've ever had, there was this kind of bug that locked me on zoom mode in the last maze of the game, was hard to focus with all zoomed in but still, was a great experience for a developer that created their first game. I can't even understand how it's their first game and still manage to support 31:9 resolution out of the box 10/10 It would be better if the character could walk a little faster but I think it was for keeping the pace and the atmosphere.
