"You once said, 'The ending isn't any more important than the moments leading up to it." "The truth is I never actually felt that way. The ending... it always felt more important to me." This is much shorter compared to the other Freebird games but still hits just as hard - if not harder. What a fitting finale to an amazing series. To fully understand and appreciate this game, playing all of the previous games in the 'To The Moon' series is a MUST! Also have tissues ready and prepare to be emotionally devastated.

I don't cry usually with games, however this one hit the spot for me. The characters are so comforting and the dialogue can be comedic at times, however the message behind the game stands strong as a meaning. Treasure the moments you make and appreciate the things that you have since nothing lasts forever.

This game is a culmination of the To The Moon / Sigmund Corp series, meant (as far as I know) as one part of the finale planned for this franchise. Unlike the other games, it is too interconnected to play this as a standalone and fully enjoy what it has to offer. If you want to start the series and need it laid out for you, here is the play order: To The Moon (+ free minisode installments) - you may remember this one going absolutely viral on YouTube Let's Plays more than 10 years ago. A Bird Story - not a full sequel, but a lead-in to the next one Finding Paradise - second full game Impostor Factory - third full game They also released the Alternate Universe Playbook as a free program to tinker around with. It features characters from this series, as well as some other indie titles, but is otherwise unrelated. And then we are here with the current game, and after this there is still The Last Hour of an Epic To The Moon RPG to be released. They apparently both play a part as a finale to this series. As for the game itself... this was a delightful time. For the most part, just spending time and catching up with characters we have already grown to love. Please, don't think too hard about it... For an already pretty short game, I'd say like 90-95% is pure fun and funny. But that last bit? Oh, if you've followed this series, you already know. It wouldn't be this series if they didn't break your heart a little by the end. I'll be curious if The Last Hour of an Epic To The Moon RPG continues from here, or if it's like a branching path with an alternate take.

I am never going to emotionally recover from this game. I just finished it. It had everything. It had Roxie. It had sand. It had everything I could ever want. If you are a fan of the To the Moon series, buy this game now. If you aren't a fan, then become a fan. The art is incredible. The music is incredible. I am in shambles. I love you Freebird Games.

Okay, this might be my fave alongside FP for the topic it tackles. I was waiting for it to approach someday, and here it is. It feels like a great epilogue to the franchise. A perfect tribute not only to the games, but to the dev team and the community. It was a real treat, guys. I savoured the game exploring every little gimmick and dialogue, had fun with the crew and shed a few tears at the end. It's especially great since I get to know the community over the couple past years and share a bond with it. I hope there is more we can get through together. In any case, thanks to the entire dev team for making this beauty, and for the community for being such chads.
