I completed Assassin's Creed Syndicate with 100% Synchronization, finished all the DLCs, and unlocked 54 achievements. The biggest highlight of the game is Victorian London. Even today, The architecture, the atmosphere of the Industrial Revolution, and the incredible environmental detail make exploring the city a joy. What impressed me the most, however, was how alive London feels. NPCs are constantly working, reading newspapers, drinking coffee, playing cricket, fighting, washing clothes, or simply going about their daily lives. These little details make the world feel believable. I also liked that they introduce two protagonists. Jacob and Evie complement each other really well, and switching between them kept the gameplay fresh. The story is decent and includes plenty of historical figures, which is something I always enjoy in an Assassin's Creed game. Not everything worked for me, though. Many side activities became repetitive after a while. Child Liberation, Cargo Hijacks, Escort missions, and Helix Glitches weren't particularly enjoyable, while collecting every Musical Box in London was more frustrating than fun. Capturing gang territories, on the other hand, was one of my favorite activities, and I wish there had been more of it. My biggest complaint is the parkour. It often feels clunky and unreliable. Honestly, if the rope launcher didn't exist, moving around London would have been far more frustrating. The DLCs were all worth playing. Jack the Ripper was easily my favorite thanks to its darker atmosphere and the new Fear mechanic, which felt like a fresh addition to the series. The Last Maharaja and The Dreadful Crimes were also enjoyable and added some nice variety. One thing that really frustrated me was the achievements. I unlocked 54, but two refused to pop. The worst was "No Ticket." I spent nearly five hours kicking enemies off trains and definitely exceeded the requirement, yet the achievement never unlocked. I'm not sure if it was a bug or a Steam synchronization issue, but it was disappointing. Overall, Assassin's Creed Syndicate isn't my favorite Assassin's Creed game, but it's still a good one. It has some repetitive content and frustrating parkour, but the world, the Frye twins, and the Victorian setting make it well worth experiencing.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is by far one of the most pleasing and visually appealing games of all time! The game feels like a time machine that takes you to 19th-century London. The map is huge, and it does feel more generation 9 than most current AAA titles out there to this date! It captures the Industrial Revolution and the Victorian era properly, and it properly shows us the impact and suffering of London's citizens due to that. I feel that the combat is weaker in most areas, and I genuinely believe that it lacks polish, especially when doing combos out there during Templar encounters. The traversal is fun, as we now have a grapple gun to ascend from building to building and travel across all of London. Also yeah, we have good and smooth parkour implemented too. Also, you can capture NPC carriages like we do in Watch Dogs and GTA games - a fun thing added there! And yes, after all this, the main downside of the game is the storyline. The story starts great, and everything keeps going great for the first few hours, but after the 3rd sequence, the storyline becomes flat. And also, to be fair, the story feels rushed, as it seemed weird how they handled all the Templar Masterminds boss missions. I mean, it was too much for the storyline, as most of those villains lacked motives and were technically slaves to their Templar Grand Master, Starrick Crawford; although he kinda portrays how leaders in the real world operate the world and their motives and all that.... you know!!! You can choose either Assassin (Jacob Frye or Evie Frye) in most missions; however, it would be great if we got to see both the Frye twins together doing assassin stuff! I really felt bad seeing their relationship lacking and getting distracted as the story progresses! But anyways, Ubisoft should have hired a good writer for the storyline, but what's the point of mentioning it now after a decade!?! Also the PC optimizations is bad, even worse than Assassin's Creed Unity, considering that this is a decade old game back from the PS4/Xbox One era (Gen 8) and on top of that it lacks a good Anti-Aliasing method. Another bad thing is the microtransactions implemented into the game! Overall, Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a great game when bought at a discounted price. Also, please consider getting the 'Gold Edition' of the game to get all the story expansion content.
The last old school Assassin's Creed with actual parkour and its classic combat system Visually it's a downgrade especially in terms of NPC count when compared to its previous game Unity and the story is complete dogwater but the gameplay, side activities and exploration is fun Also DO NOT unlock Evie invisibility skill, biggest regret ever, horrible skill to unlock if you like looking at your character since it turns your character model completely invisible everytime you stand still for 2 seconds! completely immersion breaking and annoying! do not make the same mistake i did!

This is the best soundtrack of the franchise for sure. ---{ Difficulty }--- Easy: 7/10 Like every AC game there isn’t really much of a challenge, I mean it can be challenging if you're fighting level 9 enemies and you’re level 4 but even then it’s still not that hard. ---{ Story }--- Some lore: 4/10 There was potential but I think the main focus was the gameplay and the world. The Jack the Ripper DLC tho was fire. ---{ Game Time }--- Long: 8/10 It felt really short for me but that's probably because I played it almost every day ---{ Bugs }--- Minor bugs For a game that was buggy at launch it is actually the first ac game that I’ve played with minor bugs. ---{ 8 / 10 }--- Underrated in my opinion aside from the lack of story this is everything an ac game should be. This might be my favorite of the franchise so far probably because I really like this time period.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Review Overview Syndicate is not the most beloved entry in the series, but it has real charm. London looks and feels great, traversal is fast once the rope launcher clicks, and the twin-protagonist structure adds personality. Combat and some loop design are pretty basic, and it can feel less “Assassin Creed-y” because of the gang focus, yet it is still a fun, different spin that I would recommend. What It Is Set in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution, you play as twins Jacob and Evie Frye. The goal is to loosen Templar grip on London, building your gang The Rooks, and reclaiming districts through assassinations, takeovers, and story arcs tied to historical figures. World Victorian London is the star. Districts feel distinct, streets are busy, landmarks are climbable, and the art team sells the period really well. You also get a moving train hideout that circles the map, plus a short optional World War I rift later on. Ubisoft’s world building really lands here. Movement and Tools Parkour up and down from Unity returns, then the rope launcher changes everything. You can zip straight up facades or cast a line between rooftops to cross wide streets, which keeps flow high in a city with big avenues. Horse-drawn carriages are drivable and useful for quick escapes. Combat and Stealth Fist-forward brawling with simple timing. Weapons include cane-sword, kukri, and brass knuckles. It works, but it is pretty bare bones and can get repetitive. Stealth fares better: throwing knives, smoke, hallucinogenic darts, multi-target assassinations, and clear enemy vision cones make sneaking the more interesting path. Mission Design and Structure Black Box style assassinations give you multiple ways in, while district activities fill the map: gang strongholds, bounty hunts, child-labor liberations, Templar hunts, and collectibles. Taking territory to shift control to The Rooks is the loop, and it fits the setting even if it pushes the Creed angle into the background. Characters Jacob is cheeky chaos, Evie is precise and methodical. You can swap between them in free roam, and certain missions are character-locked. They are likable and carry scenes well, even if they do not evolve much across the story. Supporting cast is solid, and the “historical guest star” moments are fun. What Works [*] Lively, good-looking London with strong landmark density [*] Rope launcher makes urban traversal fast and satisfying [*] Stealth toolkit is the better half of the design [*] Twin leads with different vibes keep the tone light [*] Train hideout and territory system add identity What Falls Short [*] Brawling is basic and gets samey in longer sessions [*] Gang takeover loop can feel like checklist clearing [*] Story ties to the Creed feel thin compared to older entries Verdict Thumbs up. Not a classic, but a genuinely fun, stylish London adventure. If you want a beautiful city to free-run through, snappy stealth, and a different flavor for the series, Syndicate delivers. If you want deep combat or a heavy Creed focus, temper expectations.
