[quote=Ezio Auditore da Firenze] "It is a good life we live, brother." "May it never change." "And may it never change us." Games today throw a thousand icons at your minimap, but this game gave you Florence, Venice, and Jesper Kyd's soundtrack. Watching Ezio go from an arrogant brawler to a legendary mentor never loses its charm. The controls take a minute to get used to if you started gaming recently, but the soul of this title hasn't aged a single day.

There are games that entertain you for a few hours, and then there are games that stay with you for a lifetime. For me, Assassin's Creed II belongs firmly in the second category. I first played this game as a child, and over the years I've returned to it more times than I can count. Every playthrough feels like revisiting an old friend. While gaming has evolved tremendously since 2009, there is something timeless about Assassin's Creed II that continues to capture my imagination and emotions. For many people, Assassin's Creed II is considered one of the greatest entries in the franchise. For me, it's more than that... It's a cherished part of my childhood, a source of countless memories, and a game that I will always hold close to my heart. No matter how many new games I play, there will always be a special place reserved for Ezio Auditore and the incredible journey that began in Renaissance Italy. Requiescat in pace, Fratello Mio.

To me the best assassins creed game till this day! Nothing has come close to the magic this game had. I remember getting this for the xbox 360 when it first came out. Once it came to PC, of course it was a no brainer to get it. Enzo is by far the most interesting character in the whole series. It improves on everything compared to the original and still looks great in todays standards. If you never had the pleasure of playing this fantastic game. I highly suggest you do so.

You start as a rich kid your family dies. You want revenge you get style. You climb a tower but this time it actually feels worth it. Renaissance Italy looks unreal. Florence, Venice, rooftops, music… everything feels alive. Ezio talks, laughs, grows. He’s not just an assassin. He’s the main character. The missions ? Finally different. The combat ? Smoother. The economy ? Still broken if you buy that sword too early. You don’t play Assassin’s Creed II for nostalgia. You play it because it’s simply better. Final score: Story: 10/10 Ezio: 12/10 Mission variety: finally Desmond sections: …fine Still playing ? Always. Because this is where the creed actually mattered. 🦅
