What every astroneer player hopes to achieve is a flattest platform know to man, so close but yet... 8/10 After how many hours of energy inovation the tier one turbines are still the best, cheapest and reliable. The game itself is SOOO GOOD, the freedom is immense; solutions are actually so fun and world exploration is simply wonderful.

On one hand, Astroneer is a fantastic sandbox game about exploring a solar system, creating interplanetary automation and scratching that itch for when you need to just dig a big damn hole in something. On the other hand, the game is just that - a sandbox. There's little in terms of an 'end game' that I can discover, progress is glacial and sometimes counterintuitive, there are numerous bugs with regards to the world generation (IE: when you visit a planet and then come back to discover the buggy you parked buried under ground somehow) and ultimately, the game is what you make of it. It's a fun game, that I've greatly enjoyed my time with, and will probably come back to every now and then. But by the same token, it's definitely not worth thirty dollars. Get it on a 50% discount or more.
