i counted down the days for this game to release on switch when i saw it in the "coming soon" section, and immediately got it the day it released. i friggin love this game. played it several times. its so peak that i bought it again now that i use steam i find some parts of the game fascinating cause it makes why go "why are they like this??" when it literally reflects what we do as humans with our pets. spoilers: (especially the hospital part)

This seemingly cute game doesn't hide a gory story, it displays it right from the beginning. The gameplay was fun enough, but not exactly what i expected it to be. The simplicity of it and the awkward story let me feeling betrayed but I can see how some people would enjoy it. It was gory but in no way scary, unfortunately.

Charmingly grotesque short concept horror game that THANKFULLY isn't just a walking simulator. This game basically plays like a level based top-down stealth survival horror game with light adventure game elements. In almost every level, you to activate the exit portal and then get to the exit without getting killed. All the items you acquire from the level you bring with you to the next level. However, if you die, you lose all the items you were carrying and have to start the level again. Also note that there's no map for any level, so you basically have to explore and kind of memorize where important things are (but the levels aren't very big, so its not much of an ask). Also, the items you pick up can be thrown in the direction that the little arrow around your character is pointing. I played this with a controller and it played like a twin stick shooter (so you can have your character moving one way and throwing stuff in a different direction). I do have some issues though: Your movement is slippery. Oftentimes you overshoot where you want to end up because the character has a tendency to just slide around when she runs. Also, I swear that just turning from right to left (or left to right) will result in the character sliding towards the direction you turn her. It can often be annoying trying to get your objects to go where you want them to go when you throw them, specifically when you throw them at an angle. This is one of those top down games where it can sometimes be difficult to tell what's something you can walk on or walk past and what's actually a barricade. Some of the dialogue seems off. It was specifically whenever someone would cuss. It always felt out of place and it was usually excessive (almost like they were trying to be edgy). However, none of these issues were bad enough to make me consider not finishing this. Especially since this was beaten in 4.1 hours, which feels like a good length for what the game is.

Es un absoluto encanto, la combinación perfecta de puzzles, sigilo y (algo) de combate, un estilo visual adorable + macabro que siempre pega bien en el terror, y una historia escalofriante y muy atrapante. No es particularmente difícil o fácil (aunque si tiene modos de dificultad para cada gusto) y tiene la particularidad de haber distintas formas de resolverlos si uno tiene los objetos, hace la solución un poco mas interesante y única. Es, como siempre, el tipo de juego que vale mas la pena entrar sin saber mucho (a parte de que es de terror/suspenso), me encantó de principio a fin. Recomendadísimo.
