7.5/10 I cannot say exactly why, but I was really surprised to find this game as good as it was. There are a few parts and a few enemies which are redundant, but there is also very clear progression, customization, and an evolving and expanding world. The story isn't too deep, but is enjoyable. The resource management isn't anywhere near as obnoxious and strict as other games. The art style and combat is pretty good too. I might just have to go back and 100% the achievements...
For the $2 I purchased it for? I'd say its plenty good enough. Its decent for a twin-stick style hack n' slash game. Kills about 6-7 hours with an easy 100%. Mechanically the games fun. Lots of easy puzzles. End boss is kind weak and frankly the story gets a 1/10. Still I had a fair bit of fun. This dev also makes Wall World and a host of other games so go check them out.
Its a good game, it reminds me of old SNES games like Soul Blazer or ActRaiser where you rebuild the world over time. The biggest flaw is the ending/post ending, it seems like there was supposed to be more but there's nothing there. Honestly, I would go so far as that the developer should remove that part until such a point as there's a reason to do it.
