Still nostalgic, still fun. Brothers paved the way forward for Josef and it's a great foundation.

Short, simple, and emotionally devastating I loved Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons, mainly because of how it uses its controls to tell the story instead of just cutscenes. Having each brother mapped to one side of the controller sounds simple at first, but the game does some really clever things with that setup as you move through the world and solve puzzles together. There’s almost no dialogue, but you still end up understanding the brothers and their bond just through their animations, reactions, and how they help each other across obstacles. The environments are beautiful but quiet, which makes the emotional moments hit even harder when they happen. It’s a short game, but it uses its time really well, and there are a few moments near the end that stuck with me way longer than I expected. If you like story-driven games that actually use gameplay to make you feel something, this one is absolutely worth playing.

Grab it on sale because its short, but its a solid 4 hours of game. This game walked so It Takes Two and Split Fiction could run.
