WAIT A MONTH BEFORE PURCHASING I really enjoy the concept of the game and do think that there's a lot to love from it which is why I'm not going to give it a thumbs down. But I heavily recommend giving this game a month to patch out the massive pacing issues that it has and lack of clarity surrounding certain functions. If you want a grind with little to no hand holding feel free to jump in now because at it's current state it will be a great game for you.

As a graphic designer I have to say this game looks beautiful. Fantastic job with the UI/UX. Walking seems like running and running seems like skedaddling and the sound makes it funnier. Ambience and music make it very chill. Bugs I have found so far: - inventory drag/drop is not working (or maybe I'm just stupid) - entering the DIY shop is hard, I have to jump and pray I can pass the door - most times to open the tablet I have to click tab twice - longer descriptions of shop items are cut off and can't scroll to read all text - the transition from day to night is kind of a jumpscare lmao

I'm going to recommend this game, HOWEVER in the current state players need to be VERY patient. Right off the bat, or fresh out of the box if you will on steam deck it is unplayable. To fix this I changed my layout from Keyboard WASD to Gamepad with mouse trackpad. This made the game run just fine on deck. That being said, there are plenty of bugs and QOL updates that need to be worked on. •when you finally open the shop (which is still very early days of the game) it has you build 2 cases to hold product. It was difficult for me to figure out what supplies were needed as they have two symbols for whats needed, but no way to figure out what the symbols mean (even in the guide) once finally built, I was unable to display products. Hitting the use button made all the UI on screen flash with nothing else happening. This stops me from progressing. •a few pots need me to add more or less of a certain soil/substrate, but when you first plant them it tells you what you need to fill the pots with. This was halting growth of the plant and I couldn't use the tool to remove the plant and start over because it wasn't technically a plant yet. •camera sensitivity is very... well sensitive. I didn't see any options to fix this at the moment (x y axis didn't do much) •Every order you take on has to be walked to the person each time it would be nice to have the option to auto deliver if we wanted.

I feel like people don't pay attention to the updates and don't go to discussions to see if the dev's are responding to problems. A lot of the bugs they already know about, and are fixing due to people bringing them up. The game is super cozy and I am having a blast. The game is also VERY PRETTY. The world is so nice to just look at. The stores not working got fixed yesterday after launch. People are leaving negative reviews for such odd things that don't seem an issue. The construction items show the amounts if you just highlight a buildable item from the menu, it shows you the amount. The dev's already stated they are going to fix the store bugs, and they have already fixed one! I haven't had any graphical issues so I can't speak on those. This isn't a $60 massive publisher game. Please give the lovely team more time to fix issues, and I still recommend the game 100%. If you want a cozy, pretty apartment to grow some plants, splice some DNA to make plants better, and pet the cat, give it a try still. Don't let the people who played for a couple of hours with no interest in checking on updates, deter you from this fun game! :)
