Enjoyed my time with this game so far. Massive fan of the art direction and visual presentation. Combat is good, though still requires some balancing obviously, particularly in the mid to high 20s. Big fan of the secrets, they mostly strike the correct balance of not being too obvious nor too obtuse. When you find a combo of runes and talismans that click, oh boy. Well worth the money, many lessons learned from Necrovale, can't wait for more.

A real hidden gem of a game. One of the best roguelites out there. Seems very hard at first, but gets easier with metaprogression. Combat is somewhat similar to Hades, but power comes from figuring out build synergies more than from player skill. There is a nice twist where enemies gets stronger when you clear each node on the map, so you can't go on forever - you can only clear so many nodes before you die. So you have to set your goals and carefully plan your route on the map. The dark fantasy world is well executed. Evokes Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain vibes for me. Exploration is fun and rewarding, with lots of secrets to uncover. I'm having a great time with it so far.

amazing game. if you liked hades you'll have a great time with this one. it has a power system similar to path of exile, you choose 4 skills and then slot gems in them that have multiple effects, like bigger aoe, explode on death or more projectiles. doesnt feel like an EA game

I'm literally addicted to this game, the gameplay loop is amazing. It's early access and there's some bugs that they need to work through, there's already been a few updates and things have gotten fixed or improved which is cool. INCREDIBLY fun, I play on both controller and on handheld. I did notice on my ROG Ally X I had a bug where the game started playing in super slow mo, I went into settings and turned off V Sync and it fixed it.

A massive improvement over "Into The Necrovale", which had one of the best buildcrafting i've seen in a game. It suffered from flaws like boring areas and monoteous gameplay. That's not the case here. The developer has put great thought and care into the game. Positives +++Fantastic buildcrafting ++Combat is simple and responsive. Fun enemy patterns as well. ++Zero cap on powerscaling, as a roguelike should be (I have to throw some shade at Hades here). +Curse intensity is smart mechanic. For every room you clear the odds of elites spawning increase. A risk/reward feature that prevents you from spending too much time trying to hoard upgrades (I'm looking at you Noita). +30 minute loops~, perfect gametime for a run. +Small puzzles, with hidden treasures if you pay attention and read the notes. +Intuitive from the start and if you're wondering "what does X do?" then it's always documented, just press ALT while hovering over things. Negatives -It can get hard to see boss mechanics in all the visual noise you create. -The game is lacking in the sound department and could be more satisfying for crunchy hits. Current Score: 8/10 I'm probably weighing the score up if it keeps up until the end. So far it's been great.
