Jesus Christ Sony........Why you had to blew $400 million developing that Concord abomination? A Days Gone 2 was the way to go, amazing game in every sense back in 2019 and today thanks to the Broken Road DLC. Time to hit the road again! Oh.....What about using the Concord characters as freakers skins? Get something done with those $400 million!

If you want to live out your fantasies as Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, give this game a shot. An impressive and atmospheric game world to explore. Side activities are relatively fun although just a little bit repetitive. Riding and upgrading your bike has a certain charm to it and makes the somewhat repetitive tasks required worth it. Overall a really immersive game, I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the zombie apocalypse trope.

10/10 Excellent story. Took me approximately 60 hours to complete main story, most of side missions, maybe 50% of collectibles. Need a sequel. SONY, if you make a sequel, release day one on PC too.

I don't understand why this game was so harshly criticized by many reviewers. From my point of view it's by far one of the best games I've played and I would definitely recommend it to everyone to play it. It's a shame the sequel won't be released as it would have had huge potential. The story was very engaging, and also long which is not easy to achieve. There aren't many open world games with such a long story and so many characters, characters that have been thought out in such a way that they each have a story behind them and a role in the story of the game, where you care about them and are not just for filler. The only thing that can get boring is that if you want to max the level of the camps for different weapons upgrades or for the motorcycle you have to do some repetitive things but personally I didn't mind this because I did them progresivly during the story. I like that they implemented the hordes, an original idea that is both fun and scary, especially scary at the beginning of the game when you don't have the right equipment. On the graphics side, it has beautiful graphics and looks very good in combination with an HDR monitor and I especially like that in photo mode you can make many advanced settings exactly as you would do on cameras in real life. I didn't have any optimization problems at all and the game ran very fluently at a high frame rate, but some time has passed since the launch and usually the problems related to optimization are solved shortly after the launch of a game ( The only thing that isn't really a problem but is an optimization error would be that sometimes when I fast traveled to any of the camps my frames would drop from 180 to 100-120 so I started MSI Afterburner to monitor why it was happening and I noticed that the GPU usage dropped from 99% to somewhere in between 60%-70%, but it usually recovered after 10-15 seconds so it didn't really bother me ).

Days Gone is criminally underrated. One of the best gaming experiences in my life was fighting the hordes. Great story, great visuals, great gameplay, and fantastic voice acting. I hope it gets a sequel. 10/10 highly recommended
