Thanks Capcom for acknowledging Dino Crisis existing I hope the original Resident Evil trilogy come to Steam next Edit: I found out this version has implemented the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Enigma DRM, if you don't want this junk on your system I highly recommend to refund (or not buy) the game on Steam and buy it on GOG instead, since it's exactly the same version without the DRM. This is also the case for Dino Crisis 1, both ports are fine but are ruined by the DRM implementation.

Dino Crisis 2 is more than a game for me. I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina and this game is the sole reason i decided to learn to speak English, so that i could understand the story of this game back when i was 6 years old more than 20 years ago, playing it on my old PC with my CRT monitor. Thanks to this game and my newfound obsession to understand the language it was in, i was learning more and more english every day and I started getting straight As in my english class during high school and that led me to study English translation at college, the rest is history. I have played this game SO many times throughout my life, and bought it so many times as well. My fondest memories are playing this game in 2004 for weeks, months, because for me dinosaurs were (and still are) the coolest thing ever, and this game had so much to offer to 6 year old me that i couldn't stop playing. I feel so in debt to this game and to this franchise that i instantly buy the Dino Crisis games every time a new release is due. I bought the GOG version in hopes to see it someday on Steam as well, and here it is, and here i am supporting it again. My beloved Dino Crisis 2. My recommendation for someone who never played it before would be that you set the resolution to 720x480 or 640x480 so that the 3d models look a little more pixelated, otherwise they stand out too much from the 2d backgrounds, and it gives it more of the feeling that you'd get playing it back then. I love this game and i'll buy it as many times as it gets released, i don't care how many. Because it's part of my history, it's a reminder of where i come from and where i'm going. Enjoy this retro masterpiece from a time where all i had to worry about was how to beat the difficult sections of this game and understand the story that was written in a language i couldn't understand at all at the time. With that being said, MAKE A NEW DINO CRISIS THAT CONTINUES THINGS WHERE YOU LEFT OFF IN THIS ONE, YOU COWARDS.
