I've played through the early access. I would recommend the game. My shipmate and I had fun even with the glitches we encountered. Suggestions for the Devs: 1. Locater is broken. It gives locations of ships that are not there. It worked until we had killed all if not all of the ships. We started to doubt if the NPC ships were respawning, we figured out they do, or thought they were, but not reliably by any means. 2. Storage needs more space, with as much random items that you pick up just by moving around in the game we found ourselves dumping a lot once we had two large storages filled with every base item. 3. Waiting 5 minutes to build the kits is a bit excessive. 4. Add a trash. 5. Respawn trees, other resources, and ships. 6. Fix the glitchy movement. It did seem better the last couples of days so maybe that is done. 7. Polish what you have before adding more content, but more content is needed. 8. Add speed to the airships. They are dreadfully slow. 9. Lifter V1 burns fuel constantly. If it going to it shouldn't while docked for sure and at a much lower rate when not docked. Ideally only when lifting the ship. 10. The current wood ship part weigh too much. Granted we made a rather large ship, due to the already mentioned storage problem, but having to add 11 advanced sails made it a bit crazy. 11. Get Mechanos out of his lair until the lighthouse is completed. We found him and killed him not even realizing it was the end boss. This game has tons of potential and is a great concept. Keep it up.

Still VERY early access, but it's fun, it's pretty, and the devs are responsive.

Alright so 5 hours in. Game released two days ago. I'd say a large portion of the complaints on the reviews are ridiculous. We live in an age where AAA studios are releasing games in "early access" in order to shore up quarterly reports for investors and make their numbers look good, and this has tricked a lot of people into thinking that's what early access is. A mostly polished game. That's not what this is. This is a 15 man crew trying to expand their team so they can put more people on a project that I ultimately believe is really cool. This is not mostly polished I don't think. But it's good. I'm going to counterpoint a lot of the complaints I've seen. "There's no x-y-z setting in the controls" they fixed that on day two. People complain about controller support but don't look at the roadmap that literally says controller support is coming. "The gathering is too slow" from people that played 22 minutes and didn't bother to build the tools. "you have to press the button on the workbench to craft" yeah there's also auto crafters that you unlock later. It's no different than pressing the button to manually craft at the beginning of every other survival base building game. "Ship building doesn't make sense" ship building? In my ship building game? How dare they. Look, all I'm saying is this game got some gas in the tank. For a 15 man crew, this is going to take a little time to get the turbo spooling but I do think at the end of the day this game is going to turn out. Play for more than 30 minutes and actually try it. Edit: Back to add, over 50 hours of solid enjoyable game play. Game feels good. Updates coming out rapid fire. For under 20 dollars this was a steal.

I'll start by saying this game is in early access, so take the reviews you see with a pinch of salt. I've had my fair share of bugs in the few hours I've played, but even with them the gameplay loop and overall feel of the game is phenomenal. Flying the airships feels fantastic, the ship-board weapons feel chunky and kinetic, even the simple loop of refilling fuel and making sure all my engines are fed as I speed through the enviroment in search of loot to drag back to my dry dock. I thoroughly recommend this game if you're the type who can see past the odd bug. The Devs seem really responsive and communicate with the community regurlarly, they're already working on the next batch of player requested features.

Yes it's early access but my 6 year old son and I still had a blast figuring the game out. Couple of bugs but nothing they can't fix quickly. Give it a chance
