I really enjoyed this game. The humor, the lore, and all the characters along the way. Kitteh is the best!! Would recommend this game to anyone who likes point and click adventures. The art and design were amazing. The puzzles were not frustratingly difficult, it was a fun challenge! The story was great! I am glad this is in my Steam library. I really hope we get to see a continuation of this story. I would really love to play more adventures with these characters.
Great art, so many original character and character animations, great voice action, a ton of written and fun content. You play as two different characters, each with their own defined mechanics. The story is well paced and the difficulty of the puzzles is a great match with the overall tone of the game. Not super basic, not very difficult - a sweet spot in between which works really in the universe of this game, everything made sense in their setting and situation. Early when playing this game, I did not enjoy it at all. There was a lot of reference humor which, to be honest, is quite done in modern point and click games, and jokes with a karma system (losing/getting a nice guy aura) and the game seemed exteremly confused in what it wanted to be. Was it a joke game? Or did it want to tell a story? As time goes, the game finds its identify, karma system is thankfully gone and so are the 4-th wall jokes and references, and the focus is more on the characters, the plot and the world, and it became a very enjoyable experience! I was about to drop it in the beginning, but I am happy I didn't, and now - I am very much hoping for a sequel!
I loved this game . The story , the humour , the art , Kitteh...dang it, it was perfect. For me it goes straight next to Broken Sword series for my all time favorite adventure game. What an amazing Call of Cthulhu adventure , it had everything and more so . It was a pleasure to click and listen to all of the conversations and descriptions. For sure a game to replay in the future. If you like everything: -Lovecraft , -Humor with some cheese, -Classic Adventure games puzzles (there is some moon logic but that is a given and its just a couple of examples out of the many challenges), -ART 2D EYE CANDY (10/10 Broken Sword 1 levels of glorious 2d art , I want more games like this!), -Voice acting ( I did not expect it , it is there and is generally very impressive. The main characters in particular are fantastic thus making it fun to listed to all the descriptions) Then this game is for you! I lost my mind and learned an entire cypher while playing this thing , lost actively 20 sanity points translating until my own cat starting talking to me and we translated several pages togheter. Cthulhu fhtagn! 10/10
One of the best cthulhu adventures written. The comedy is professional and not just "haha carzy people go weird". Lovecraft intended Cthulhu as a sci-fi myth and they picked up on that well. Story, dialogues, voiceacting, chapter design, puzzles, music, artwork - everything is so well done and put together. I was constantly torn between clicking everything and satisfying my burning curiosity how the story develops. Just supreme, this game is a masterpiece.
