When golf can be more than just for the elite Golf Gang is a lively, arcade-style mini-golf game that skillfully blends cartoonish visuals with genuinely fun gameplay. At first glance, it seems like a simple pastime, but don’t underestimate it: there are both solo levels and online battles with friends. The developers did a fantastic job with the Steam trailer – it really captures the vibe of the game. One of Golf Gang’s main perks is how accessible it is. No complicated calculations for shot power, no wind variables, or other technical stuff. It’s straightforward: aim, hit, and watch your ball roll along quirky courses. But that seeming simplicity is deceptive. The game can challenge even the most patient players, especially if your goal is to get gold on all levels in classic mode (which, by the way, I did). As you play and improve, the game generously rewards you with in-game coins. These coins unlock new locations, unique modifiers that can totally shake up the rules of a match, and of course, a bunch of fun decorations for your golf ball. Golf Gang has a few main modes. Besides the classic mode, where you have to finish in a set number of strokes, there are two more focused on speed and climbing the ranks. In each mode, you need not just precision but also the ability to quickly adjust to the environment and the ball's unpredictable physics (plus that ever-pressing timer). The ball often flies and rolls way off the usual path, giving you all sorts of creative ways to get out of tricky spots. There is a small catch, more of a quirk than a flaw: the difficulty of levels within a single location can sometimes be uneven. You might easily finish one level on your first try, and then spend twenty or more attempts on the next, which can be a bit tiring. Still, it doesn’t ruin the overall experience—it just adds a bit of an unexpected challenge. The only thing I’d suggest to the developers is to add a tag for Steam achievements, since they’re already in the game itself (but aren’t listed in the store). Overall, Golf Gang is an awesome arcade game that’s perfect for sharpening your reflexes, spatial thinking, and just having fun. The game definitely deserves a 90%+ rating.
