Barro 22 is a simple racing game that I would probably never play on the PC. I played it on the Steam Deck and it gave me 30 minutes of fun. The different tracks, trucks and weather types kept it interesting to keep playing. It's also nice to collect all the achievements and the cards.

If you are looking for a high-budget simulation like Forza or Gran Turismo, this isn't it. However, if you want a low-cost, fun, and strangely therapeutic racing experience, this game is a hidden gem. The Gameplay The mechanics are straightforward and easy to pick up. You control a small, toy-like car across various tracks. The physics feel light and bouncy, which adds to the "toy car" charm. While the handling can be a bit quirky at times, it’s rarely frustrating once you get the hang of it. Graphics and Atmosphere For an indie title, the visuals are clean and colorful. The tracks are well-designed with a good variety of environments. It’s the kind of game you put on after a long day to just "zone out" and drive. Pros: Affordable: Usually priced very low, making it a great "bang for your buck". Easy Achievements: Perfect for achievement hunters; you can "perfect" the game relatively quickly. I picked this up looking for a simple racer, and Barro 22 definitely delivers. If you’ve played the previous games in the series, you know what to expect, but this one feels like a nice step forward. It doesn’t try to be a triple-A simulator; instead, it focuses on being a fun, accessible arcade racer that anyone can jump into.
