The game was inspired by Pokemon, but is not a creature collector. It plays much more like a classic RPG in which a maximum of 5 characters fight at the same time. A special character can be played during the game (for a few rounds) with different types (e.g. earth, shadow...). The dungeons are usually very linear. Some paths are blocked and only accessible with a certain character in the game. The game is easy to play on the Steam deck. The only annoying things are the occasionally flickering backgrounds and the fact that achievements are only displayed in-game.

+ well-written dialogues, a pleasure to read + linear but exciting and vibrant world, a pleasure to explore + multiple characters having actual personalities + Pokemon-like battle mechanics, but with various twists and improvements + issues that make the Pokemon world morally questionable (like owning sentient creatures, or making creatures fight each other) are addressed head-on in this game, not ignored + vocally anti-trans dev - one specific type of puzzles is quite a downer - the music gets repetitive after a while All in all, a gem.
