This is one of those hidden indie gems that'll eat away at your free time like nobody's business. Combining the best of tactical, squad building auto-battle games with the structure of Slay the Spire, Hive Blight perfectly captures the "just one more run" feeling that I've been looking for in a game. There's some minor jank with drag and drop getting in the way of inventory slots, but overall the game is very well polished and it feels like you're in good hands when you load it up. For an early access game, there's a good amount of content in each run, but I'll anxiously be awaiting the two new factions as I've so far won a round with every combination of factions. EDIT: after unlocking every card and beating the game on the current highest difficulty, I can't recommend this game enough. It's so fun and I can't wait until full release.

This game's a whole lot of fun. It reminds me a bit of Monster Train if it were made into an autobattler instead of a turn based card battler, and I love Monster Train so I hope this game gets enough engagement to support development for a long time to come.

Quite a fun little game, Kinda Pokemon meets Slay the Spire....in a very good way. I just wish there was more enemy variety, especially in end stage bosses. Easily worth the 10 bucks as is, and with improvments along the way thru EA, sure to just get better. It does need a touch of a once over balance wise ATM... some units and mechanics feel ESPECIALLY strong, and others are meh to downright under powered. I'm sure that will come in the days to come. All told, a great little game with A LOT of potential. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
