Human Host has great potential so far. Definitely early access in regards to components of the game still left to work on from the roadmap but updates have been frequent. It takes me back to the nice early days of 7DTD (over 2000 hrs). Keep up the good work Devs! Don't follow the the mistakes and blunders of Fun Pimps and you'll do great.

It's very, very early access. The guy is in the chat sorting issues and adding to the game. Think "7 Days to Die" but back at the start and the Dev isn't telling you how to play but asking you how you want to play

My yes is dependent upon people realizing there is a Custom setting option, allowing you to turn down the quantity and ferocity of the zombies. I was unable to stay alive for any length of time nor to find any safe place, as there were so many and so little time to gather anything to fight them with that I ALMOST gave up. Once I reset them and was able to actually play the game, I enjoyed it a lot, and learned that there are deep crafting capabilities that I look forward to exploring. So it's a yes and a no on my recommendation. They may want to rethink the balance in spawn areas to allow new players a chance. If I had not found the Custom option and used it, I probably would have asked for a refund.

This game is going to go places. I have played Vein, The Infected, 7 Days 2 Die, project zomboid,, etc. and each of them had their start in EA... this EA is really solid and the Devs are responsive with questions and bug remediation. This will be something i will be playing for quite a while!

Really enjoying it so far. No complaints from me. As someone who’s spent countless hours in 7 Days to Die, my first session with Human Host today left me genuinely impressed. We all remember how rough the early days of 7d2d were, and how long it took to become the game we know now. That’s why I see a ton of potential here — this feels like the start of something special. Should you buy it? If you loved watching 7 Days to Die evolve over the years (yes, even through the questionable updates), then absolutely. Give Human Host a shot. And to the developer: fantastic work so far. Keep going.
