I had a good time with this game and it's exactly what it advertises itself as: a short clicker game. I really liked the pixel art style. The humor and writing gave me strong Space Quest-era vibes. I ended up using an auto-clicker, and personally I don't feel like it took anything away from the experience. The only issue I ran into was some dialogue glitches during my second playthrough. Even after restarting the game, they were still there. Aside from that, the game ran perfectly. What surprised me most was seeing people complain about the price. I honestly don't get it. The game is upfront about being short, and whether a game lasts one hour or twenty, someone still had to create the art, write the dialogue, and put it all together. For what it is, it's easily worth the asking price. It also looks like this is setting up a larger game from the developer, and if that's the case, I'm looking forward to seeing where they take the story next. Overall, I had fun with it, I'd recommend it, and I think it's well worth the asking price.
A fantastic incremental idler with a great theme, and great visuals and music. Human Powered Spacecraft is tons of fun, plus the writing is top notch, lots of sci-fi references and other funny quirky moments that make this game charming as hell! Achievements were fairly easy, wasn't too grindy and clicking the wheel and hearing the sound effects is OH so good! <3 Great job Shiv! cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us! :D
A fun but short incremental clicker game where you must keep your spaceship going by clicking rapidly to repair various systems and to keep your ship going. This game is quite short and can be beaten in about 24 minutes, but the low price reflects this. TIPS/HINTS: There is a trick to disconnecting the fuse. Check the Forums if you get stuck. You will not earn the final Achievement, Colonist!, unless you let the final credits reach their conclusion.
8/10 for me. For less than the cost of a soda you get a great, handcrafted game. Definitely short and wayyyy too much clicking and too little automation for my poor wrist lol. BUT...that's kind of the point. This isn't about automation like other incremental games. You can feel the care that was put into this. Easily wish listed the sequel.
