I was expecting your typical run-off-the-mill walking simulator, loaded with cheap jumpscares and a house where you are just looking for trigger points to move on. It's quite different. This game is well crafted and filled with amazing details. The sound design is very creepy and the ghost is an actual threat. It feels like being stuck in a horror movie. There is a lot of content. You can search for collectibles and the achievements aren't that obvious. When the ghost is near you, things actually start changing like crucifixes can turn upside down, radios start to play or eerie music can be heard. Also the ghost actively searches for you, opens doors and destroys light sources. Her footsteaps were driving me insane and because of all of this, the whole game is feeling alive. The story isn't anything new but the way the game is revealing all the pieces from the past, combined with so much detail, is making this a true gem. Give it a try if you like walking sims but actually want to feel scared and immersed. There even seems to be a new game plus modee which is harder.

I enjoyed the game. Sad, but it had some good scares. I enjoyed exploring the house and the other areas. I like games where you can interact with all sorts of different items.

Just played this game and i was honestly quite impressed with it. It was a great story , good controls, decent puzzles with some good scares along the way. The models of the ghosts and other monsters were great and i was super impressed to learn that this game was mainly made by just one person. You can tell the dedication they had for the game especially if you do manage to make it to the end and see all the bonus content. I was already happy with the game but when i saw the bonus content , it became clear that this was a passion project and made for fans of the horror genre. infliction is a short horror game where you investigate what happened in an eerie house . i gotta say the atmosphere of this game is crazy good and game doesnt uses cheap jumpscares like horror games these days . its really amazing to experience such a different type of horror game where u constantly feel u are always seen . it is a must play experience. 9/10
