It's probably the best zootycoon-type of game I've played in a long, LONG time. I really enjoyed this title. If you're someone who still hasn't given it a try, but you like city builder or zoo management sim games--you're missing out. I will say, the only kinda negative thing I would say about this game is that not all the dinosaurs are available in the base game. You have to buy the DLC's and various packs to get them all. That said, a lot of the dinosaurs added in the packs aren't super unique. A lot of them seem to fall into the same categories as the base game dinos. So, don't feel like you're really missing out if you don't have all the dinos. Plus, all the dinos you're looking forward to are very likely already in the base game. Stuff like the indoraptor, dilophosauras, indominus rex, brachiosauras, etc. from the movies is already in there. The various packs just add more dinos to appease the people that are REALLY nuts about these guys--and the more power to you if you're one of these people. Also, the DLC that adds extra maps are worth getting if you've already finished the main narrative and find yourself still wanting more. Stuff like "Return to Jurassic Park" and "Sanctuary" have a new map and narrative to play through. These DLC's also add a couple more dinos and technology/buildings--so it's well worth the price, considering you can add this stuff to the Isla Nublar, which is the sandbox map to do whatever you please with. Definitely a good game. It deserves all the praise it's gotten these last 7 years. Also, I really enjoy a game that randomly throws in a tornado to spice things up. XD 10/10, I'd do it all over again. Just like Hammond.

I rage quit. The only other game to make me do this includes a slice of bread. It’s all going well ‘til one thing bad happens then the whole park just eats itself. Save often though, unlike genius girl here, and you’ll be fine. It’s a charming title regardless.

After years of playing JWE and JWE2, JWE is much more fun. If you are looking to buy one of them, this is it. JWE 2 is a grindfest and I miss Islands.
