A short and quite nice visual novel, available only in Russian and English. The game features few main characters - the only girl will be the one with the most interactions/options available - and the whole setting is a magical world, so.. totally fantasy. And it's ok. It's all romantic and sweet, the graphics are great and the music is ok too. I'd really recommend this one to anyone who likes visual novels centered about love and magic, I think really no one will be disappointed with this Russian title. Yeah, it's overall a short game, but it's worth the while. As I said, the girl (Inske) will be your main character who will interact mainly with the three guys cited above, who all have personal routes that can get quite deep, funny and romantic - there are lots of different endings for each character too, so there's much replay to do here. Probably if you take your time to read this game as a real novel it will take about 6 or 7 hours, and it plays like all the other classic visual novels - there are skip options, save features, small extras.. you got the idea. Nothing innovative, but the story is really nice and well-written. The graphics are great and luckily it seems that some months ago the whole game underwent some kind of English native check so everything is fully enjoyable right now. The characters interact in nice ways, the dialogues are always funny and often deep, well.. the writers of this novel did a really good job. And for what concerns the English translation part, don't pay attention right now at the older reviews since as I said it has been all re-written so there are no mistakes anymore. Recommended if you like visual novels, this one is a must have even if it's not perfect!

I'm on a review spree it would seem! So this game, it's fine as far as content and story goes. It has the same sort of issues as the other titles by the same devs. It's short and sweet with pretty art and ok music. I did actually like the music in this quite a lot, the piano pieces are pretty and peaceful and went well with the setting. Artstyle is again, simple and sweet and has a nice balance of CGs mixed in to the story, looking back at it there's actually quite a few CGs and some of those kiss scenes are good!! The MC is a tad annoying with her clumsiness at times, but she will also bite back retorts when the guys are taking the piss. So that's kinda nice to see! The guys themselves are the typical characters we often see- the grumpy childhood friend, the flirty narcissist and the bespectacled brains of the bunch. They're pretty well written, nothing really new about their types and character although it was still fun to meet them and follow their story. Plus Burain is a cutie! This game is currently on sale, and I believe it is worth it at the sale price, but maybe not as much at full price. That may seem a little harsh perhaps, but it's just how I feel.

Let's not stay friends is a short otome (girl x boy) visual novel by the Russian developer group [url=https://vk.com/mihirisu]Violet Feature . You play as a young woman called Inske, who happens to be a student enrolled at a Magic Academy. Soon there's an outdoor exam that all students must go through, and depending on your choices, one of Inske's friends will accompany her and something more will happen between them. You have three romance options: Frenz (the childhood friend), Taf (the school playboy), and Burain (the smart one). My favorite character was Frenz, I found his route very sweet. There are four endings per character too, which is good since you can play this title multiple times in order to reach all possibilities! Once you reach all three happy endings for the guys, they'll fully show up on the menu screen of the game. Another feature that I liked a lot here was the fact that there's an ending list inside the game and a few extras like a profile of the characters and mini-comics. The English translation of the game is good (at least the version I played on 19/05/2018), I was able to fully understand everything. From what I can recall right now, just the mini-comics that weren't well translated, and were obviously translated by a different person with a different level of knowledge in the English language. The art is very pretty! This visual novel has many CGs for such a short story, I love it. The backgrounds were also nice, together with the BGM; the songs are good and they fit the story well. You can feel that effort was put in the production of this game. It also took me two hours and a half to finish all routes. I was reading quite fast, but if you read it at a more slow pace, I guess that around three or four hours would be enough to finish everything. 7/10. I strongly recommend Let's not stay friends if you're looking for a short, good, and cheap otome visual novel on Steam.

It is a short story that is easily completed within 2-4 hours depending on your speed of reading. As a result, so much more could have been done to flesh out the story and its dynamics, but by the time you reach the climax the story quickly wraps things up to its final conclusion. Sigh. Oh well. The art-work was done well and there are many CG’s to enjoy. Technically, there are only a few typos and grammar errors in the English version, but nothing that might stop you from enjoying the story, which was pretty decent considering its length. The characters were unique and interesting and the MC likable. If there is one thing I might complain upon it is the fact that the world is just sort of pushed back into the background. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it does keeps the flow of the story flowing instead of keeping it stagnant, but it does have a rather rushed feeling to the story itself and thus loses a little on fleshing out its true dynamics. Such as the world itself. And when the world suffered, wrinkles begin to spread into the development of the characters as well. There really isn’t enough time getting to know these characters as much as what is presently available and that is rather unfortunate because with more content, more events, and everything, it could have easily become a very decent Otome/VN comparable with some of these bigger titles. Even so, despite the fact it is very short, it is pretty decent little story. If you can, buy it when it is on sale. Due to the length of the story, I think it is priced a little high, but if you are into these kind of games I think it is fairly enjoyable.

Low price for a very good vn. I found the romance sweet and done very well. Contrary to most VN the MC is not a stalker. The backgrounds and CGs are beautiful. Finding all 12 endings took about 7 hours (Without a walkthrough) and it was worth it. I found a few typos in the translation but nothing that prevents from enjoying the game.
