Pros +Fun and "loose" gamplay +Cigarettes +All weapons are viable with strengths and weaknesses +Punchy "old school gore" Cons -no kick -no beer -no mirror (or maybe its just me) -a little too easy -no secrets or hidden objectives (like in the first mission) making the larger maps feel a little empty Verdict: I NEED MORE!!!!! The most psychotic part of this game is the unchangeable control scheme of: F - Use T - Flashlight Z & C - Left & Right Lean E - {NOTHING} Very Good game though.

In a grand total of 53 minutes I was able to beat all of the available content on hand, completing every optional objective and managing to not die a single time. With this in mind, its a bit hard to recommend PIGFACE, but I will do so nonetheless, because I'm almost certain that the full release will be a product worthy of peoples time as long as it stays in its current price. I'd mostly suggest buying the game now just to get it at a lowered price and to support the dev. I know Tito has plans for a good amount of levels being added between now and 1.0, and with some minor additions and tweaks to the combat balance (which are also planned), we could have a really solid game on our hands. Where PIGFACE shines are those "oh shoot" moments where you've run out of healing items and ammo, being forced to pick up weapons on the go, trying to escape the against the wall situations. Its easy to describe PIGFACE as a 3D Hotline Miami when talking about this style of emergent gameplay, but in its current state the player has to sort of challenge themself by limiting their loadout if they want to experience emergent gameplay consistently. Its very easy to get enough money for the body armor and the scoped, suppressed pistol, which are both more than enough to mitigate any sort of challenge the game can throw at you. Almost all melee enemies pose zero threat to the player, acting as more of a distraction for the player so the enemies with guns can light you up. Ammo is plentiful at all times, making melee weapons more of an occasional option instead of necessity. Generally, as one could probably already presume, I think the games biggest problem aside from the lack of content, is the difficulty. Stealth is kinda bugged and overpowered, enemies don't do that much damage, you can bring in 6 healing items and just mindlessly walk forward into gunfire. Again, these things will be adjusted as time goes on, but if you're hoping to hop right into PIGFACE to experience the same difficulty and thrills of Hotline Miami or something similar, I'd wait a bit longer for things to get smoothed out. The peaks so far are pretty high, yet too far apart from each other. Regardless, still I think I will go through the game once or twice more with less powerful loadouts, enjoying the game even more as time goes on.
