--The positives-- - its a lot of fun - The first playthrough will be chaotic and you will learn things that makes the second and ongoing playthroughs even more fun, especially for those that like to beautify. - should be enjoyed in coop - enjoyed the puzzles and "parkour" elements - beautiful soundtrack - Love the raft building and beautifying mechanic - Awesome art and world design --The negatives-- - The game is really bad at explaining its mechanics, which are also not always intuitive - on easy, the survival mechanics are okay, but already on "normal" they become frustrating - Tools have a durability mechanic, which seems stupidly low for some tools, like the showel for example or the metal speer. - my biggest gripe is with the tool progression. mild spoilers: Only after the finally will you unlock the highest tier of tools, but the game is already over and there is no other objective, no end-game content that could keep you engaged, other than your own decision to keep sailing the sea. - This game really needs a new game+ mode - congratulations, you killed the shark. Your peace will only last a minute though until the next one comes. Same with the bears. Respawntimers are wayyy too low. Wouldn't be too bad if your speer would atleast last a bit longer, but noo... - not really negative, but the game defaults to "normal" game mode, which is frustrating and way too hard for the first run. After retarting on "easy", which is already challening enough, i started to have fun. --Summary-- I had a lot of fun with this game. Some game design decisions should be reworked, like durability and the tool progression, but seeing that its not really being developed further anymore, those will most likely remain dreams. Buy it during a sale, invite some friends and you will have fun for a couple of nights , but it wont replace your default games. For me, it has lost its novelty after three runs, your milage may vary.

This game is awesome. I used it as a tool to help me quit smoking, (no joke) because it just makes time fly. Hours feel like minutes, days feel like hours. Plus its fun and the art style is cool. 9/10 β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…βœ©

Raft is simply one of the most charming survival games I’ve played. Simply standing on my raft as it floats over the waves through an endless body of water is truly relaxing. There’s also a great sense of pride and achievement that comes with seeing what I’ve built every time I load into the game. It’s an easy recommendation for survival fans that may have been holding off on jumping into early access, as well as those just learning about the game for the first time.
