Ill give this a thumbs up because it just hit full release and hopefully the devs fix a few things. Ive made it to level 25, have a 2 story store with room for all the things I can sell and then some. The game runs well and is surprisingly addictive. My complaints with this game are rather minor but: 1) Animals. The most infuriating part of this game. I have 8 pens. I have 7 workers whos primary task is "animal harvesting". The cows and goats will not be milked unless they are the only animals in pens. All 7 workers will non-stop collect eggs from egg laying animals. Even if theres one egg in one pen and all 10 cows havent been miked. Its a cycle of grab 1 box for 1 egg, put one egg on shelf, repeat. Then when you go to milk the cows, if the cow moves or another cow walks in front of you it stops the miking mini-game. if you have 10 cows in one pen, good luck. The devs should have a 'if < 12 items to collect then do not collect' on animal pens. Waste of emplyees 2) Employees. Pretty much useless. they are very limited in their tasks, and can not make use of useful upgrades, such as the larger bins I buy. They have to use the 12 limit bins, while I can buy bins that go up to 96 units. I can also hold multiple (7) bins at once and they can only do 1. So effectively I can collect 672 items in one trip while they can collect 12. Basically, it takes then 20 times longer to complete a task than if you just do it yourself. 3) wild animal spawns. Primarily the 4 wild birds you keep in cages. Youre lucky if you get 1 spawn per day, and thats if you happen to see it during the 1 game hr its on your property. it takes forever to catch one and then it nets you a few dozen eggs and 1 meat and then you need to wait for another respawn. Procreation needs to be a thing in this game. No farmer / rancher buys young animals just to raise and then butcher, they buy some to rase and then use those to keep reproducing more and more. This mechanic is okay for the stuff you can buy, but i should be able to catch a few quail and put them in a cage and keep them for more and more and more quail. 4) this game needs more mid game. I feel like level 1 through 20 theres a ton of unlockables, then you hit 20 and its a few qol items, then its small things that are ehh after that all the way to level 60.

I'm really enjoying the game so far. I like that you can turn your harvests into other consumables to sell & I really like the fact that you can assign employees tasks (that they actually preform really well).

I watched FloppySims play the demo and thought I would give it a try. This game is what I want from a farming/management sim. I have goals to accomplish, animals that actually need to be taken care of and crops to manage. I hope in futures updates we get more space to develop and more machines to make more artisan goods. I would like to see maybe different expansions to accommodate the goods you make but keeping with the rural feeling of the game. This game isnt perfect it is still in EA. I haven't run into any bugs yet but like all games they are there. Overall I'm really excited to see where this goes and what will be added.

EDIT: We can now harvest with employees and we can now lock shelves :) I love this game, it needs a discord for suggestions etc. Also, please let me harvest animals/plots when employees are doing it. Its so annoying having to wait for them. Please make the employees permanent. I hate when i buy a new shelf and the employee restocks it, so i have to wait for it to finish, then i have to be quick with taking out the stuff and replacing it. (please fix that lol)

Fun relaxing game I have had fun with on the Steam Deck so far. Even though it has only been an hour on the game so far, it has been a blast. You not only run a farm but you also sell stuff in a little store to. You can set up chicken areas, do some veggie farm places, you can sell to customers coming into the store and you can also sell for half the price to bigger places if you need some cash fast or you have lots of extra's. Graphics are good enough for this type of game, audio is good and the controls are well done on a controller to. I can see myself playing a ton of this one, like I have with Card Simulator, Laundry Simulator and the Shopping Market Simulator games the last while. Never though I would like these types of games but I find the GOOD ones so very relaxing and chill, something I never expected. If you like Car Simulator, Laundry Simulator or Shopping Market Simulator give this one a try to, there are some bad simulator games out there that I hated and refunded but then there are these awesome ones I listed. Check it out, can't wait to play more and see what the devs add in the future, Two Thumbs up.
