Sally Face is genuinely something that you cannot explain to someone its something you have to experience on your own. a captivating story about a boy, his prosthetic face and the shit hand life dealt him trying to find a sense of individuality and belonging after everything that's happened to him. what did happen? find out for urslef :p i mean it when i say play this on ur own or watch a playthrough. it strays off completely from what you expect but in a good way. i could understand how it catches others off guard and it doesnt make any sense but i feel like this game is for some ppl to get and others to not because some ppl can genuinely see bits of themselves in the large cast of interesting characters that each get their time to be fleshed out or have a moment to showcase their personality, motivations, beliefs and their relationship with Sally Face. Sally Face is an interactive, side scrolling, horror visual novel with interesting story and gameplay elements that keep you absolutely hooked till the very VERY end

I want to be cautious before recommending Sally Face. It has some dark, dark moments. If you have certain emotional triggers, it might affect you pretty badly. But it's a great game! Although it can get really dark (and overall is pretty dark) it has a cute, wholesome atmosphere. Almost healing. The story is layered and captivating. At first I didn't like the turn of events in chapter 4, where things get really dark. And chapter 5 felt like a totally different game. But it's also quite creative. And I have a feeling that I understand some things better now. Like a new level of empathy has just been unlocked in me. Weird thing to say about a game but that's just my experience. And huge respect to the developer, Steve Gabry. It's impressive that one person was able to pull this off. As a metalhead, I became a fan of Sanity's Fall. Hard to forget this game. At least a 7 out of 10.

Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played. I got into it around 2018/2019 through playthroughs, and then got it on my nintendo switch in around 2020/2021 (and finally got it on my computer too in like 2022). It is my FAVORITE game, the storytelling is amazing, the art is mesmerizing, and the characters are so realistic and likable. I never get tired of this game, and you can play it so many times and still find new things. :)! I definitely rec this game, I think most anyone can find something they like about it
