Very solid stealth game. Fairly hard if you don't got strategies for the guards. After finishing the whole game it turns into a psychopath simulator. Had a lot of fun. i got the platinum in like 12hrs

Good game. Fun concept. Feels kinda like it had the rug pulled out from under it near the end of it's development period. There are some tell tale signs of unfinished mechanics and unpolished details. Overall it is a game and a full one at that! But there are some things like the grapple hook that don't always work how they are supposed to. Has a few interactions between the characters with still images that don't necessarily go together or are two slightly different art styles. I would say that if it had another 6 months to a year of development it would definitely be a rather heavy hitter. Unfortunately it's just, ok. It's definitely worth $16, there's a lot of content, it's just content that's not quite done cooking. 6/10 would be murderous medieval spider-woman again

I imagine the Plague Tales games had a lot of influence from Shadwen. A female protaganist and a child companion with similar stealth missions to Plague Tales in dark cities with deadly guards wandering about. The difference to Plague Tales is the time stop and reversal (similar to the game "Iron Danger"), used when you mess up and die, which is so much better than restarting the level. And also the protaganist has a rope gun (like in Dishonored) to spiderman along the rooftops. The tutorial is in my humble opinion is the hardest level in the game, with an obstacles course more difficult than anything else you will encounter. The controls and time reversal feel super weird initially but do grow easier to use as the game progresses. I could see many players quitting in the first level for these reasons, but if you get thru the early stages, the game truly becomes highly enjoyable. Spoiler Alert: There is no end boss fight, which is disapointing; sneaking thru the final room ends the game. If you like boss fights, this game is not for you. If you love stealth then I recommend Shadwen. It's fun.

Uh Mazing! A great stealth game where you move quickly in the shadows! In 3d too! Also comes with a neat level editor! I admit the guards are a bit dumb but this is a very fun game with a great great story! Rating 8/10
