A childhood favourite of mine, not the graphics im used to but honestly even now not the worst, controls are a little clunky but thats to be expected. Im in my element reliving missions that once upon a time seemed impossible, At 37 im sat with a big smile as i run around as twinson once again. Definately worth the couple of monies for it in my opinion..... Can you help me heal my dino fly?

As clunky as it can be it's still one of the best adventure games out there. The pacing is insanely good.

Ah, Little Big Adventure 2. This game will always hold a very special place in my heart. It's the definition of an adventure game, with some loot, some touch of RPG, and a pinch of humor. The music is really helping set the mood too. Of course the graphics have grown old and the combat and movement styles are outdated but the game remains a gem. Would totally recommend it, although I would hope for a remake/remaster, which seems unfortunately to have been delayed indefinitely.

This is the most epic ♥♥♥♥ ever, and while the remake/reboot/re-imagined??? modern art style looks atrocious, the original still got it. 10/10

Wow! What a trip down memory lane! My story with this game might differ somewhat from others, as it was a part of my childhood but I didn't actually play it. No, my cousin did. Neither of us spoke English nor were we especially bright with this type of game, as we were quite young. For that reason, we didn't go very far. I distinctively recall he restarted the game a lot for whatever reason, so quite a considerable amount of time was spent at Citadel Island specifically. Fast forward nearly 30 years and I *finally* get to play it for myself after eyeing it here on Steam for a few years now and after refunding the first game for not being particularly impressed by it. I'm just a few minutes in, feeling like a child again running around Citadel Island not really knowing what to do (except I now speak English fluently, so I'm learning how to progress) and good God, they really don't make games like this anymore. There's something really special about LBA2 and it clicked for me immediately. It's not just nostalgia either as I didn't personally play it. I'm also quite surprised by how well it plays on the Steam Deck. Not because I expected it to perform poorly, but because the controls are phenomenal. I made no changes to the default control scheme and despite being unorthodox even by 1997 standards, it just makes sense. In fact, I think having RT as forwards and LT as backwards makes perfect sense with tank controls. I don't recall actually playing this game much if at all (besides watching my cousin explore Citadel Island), let alone with a controller, and it feels like riding a bike... if I hadn't learned how to ride one. I'd definitely recommend getting this whether you played it or was exposed to it as a child, or if you heard of it just recently. It actually aged surprisingly well, although parts of it do look and feel dated. It's a very unique game, the likes of which you'll struggle to find nowadays.
