This game has a shocking amount of length to it, and I'm really enjoying the story. Not much of a horror experience though, for anyone looking primarily for horror. I'd say horror takes the backseat to narrative, which isn't a bad thing here.

The main thing is to keep the light inside your soul. As a huge fan of Firewatch and Papers, Please, I was enchanted by this game at first sight. Plot. Due to bad weather, the city authorities decided to restart reopen an abandoned lighthouse on a nearby island. That wouldn’t be a problem—except the last lighthouse keeper disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Can our hero overcome the challenges ahead and unravel the island’s dark secrets? Gameplay. As you’ve probably guessed, we’ll be inside a small lighthouse. Our main task is to respond to radio signals daily and guide ships to safe harbors. However, everyone will try to convince us to bend the rules—local villagers, drug mafia and even forces of darkness will seek to manipulate us for their own ends. Will you choose the honest path… or give in to temptation? While making these choices, you’ll also need to open the door for visitors and cleanse the house of creeping corruption. Visuals. God, I love this art style. Lately, many games are ditching hyper-realistic Unreal Engine graphics in favor of analog horror aesthetics—and damn, does it look amazing. The atmosphere is terrifying, sending chills down your spine at every turn. Final verdict. If you want a deeply engaging experience with rich lore, memorable characters, and tons of Easter eggs - you are welcome. BUT! If you also need replayability with multiple intriguing endings - this game is so perfect. If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;) The further - The better♥️

It's essentially 'Papers, Please' meets 'Voices of the Void' with a Lovecraftian theme on easy mode. It doesn't feel like there is a time limit like in Papers so you can take your time verifying everything. It's a bit creepy, nothing far too scary yet (i'm on night 9). The art is cool, the sound design is good, but I just find it so so easy that I can only recommend it to people who really, really like Lovecraft type games. I'll certainly be following solarsuit for their future titles because I think this is a decent first foray. 70/100 it's fine, kept me interested but it just didn't get complex enough for me by day 9.

don't like horror genre nowadays because of the shouting screamers around my tiktok page but here is the MY LEVEL of scariness. IF you dont like the jumpscare - it's your game. If you like STORY game - it's your game. Personally recommend.

Lovecraft, Lighthouse, Horror isn't it the combo you are looking for these days? Dive into this game and can surely say IT'S DAMN GOOD. As a Lovecraft lover I'm happy that someone tried to describe the indescribable thing and create this level of atmosphere in the game. I don't like jumpscare so I was satisfied 100% with the horror part and really enjoyed the story.
