Not bad. It can be difficult to reach the map and checkpoints but I think it's good compared to other backroom games out there...

Genuinely one of the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up games i've played. I mean this in a good way, i just love the way the lore is fully revealed at the end. In the beginning you just piss yourselves from the entity, at the end you ♥♥♥♥ yourself from how disturbing it is.

This is a really good horror game, but this is not a good "Backrooms" game. I don't think the developers understood what made the Backrooms so good as a concept. I feel like this game could be its own thing, and do pretty well - but they just made the walls yellow and added buzzing lights, slapped a Backrooms sticker on it, all to market to the masses. This plays identical to their game Rotten Flesh, but, I honestly prefer Rotten Flesh over this one. Rotten Flesh doesn't need to fit any vibe or abide by any rules, but, making a Backrooms game is different. So, a very talented developer team are behind these games, and the mechanics are solid. Gameplay is solid. Jumpscares are a bit annoying, but sometimes pretty creative. I appreciate that there is an option to turn them off. The writing is absolutely horrible, however, the monster design is not bad at all, and 100% defeats the majority of crappy Backrooms entities people come up with. I have mixed feelings on the game overall. I recommend, for a traditional horror game experience. I do not recommend, for someone looking for a core Backrooms experience. Too much going on here.

This game is absolutely terrifying and I've marathoned scary horror games every Sept/Oct for decades now. It's up there with Visage and Mortuary Assistant and Captured for genuine scares. Caveat here is that it's only an hour long. But it's quality, especially compared to a lot of garbage Backroom games out there. This is one of the good ones. Recommended if you're looking to be scared.

Alright. So, let me get a review in while the games still fresh in my head. I want to note I didn't know at first that there was one developer when I went into the game and I have to say I'm impressed. Now, did it feel like a Backrooms game? Not really. It took place in the backrooms but it felt more like a weird Purgatory/Hellscape kinda game with the main character being trapped/punished for a Crime. (I'm not going to spoil the game. So trying to leave a review without ruining too much) The Jumpscares started to feel a little repetitive at times or they'd trigger and I wouldn't see it/know what was even going on. I didn't get to finish the game BTW, because I got a bug in the Red Room Area where you can't pick up any items back there (thus preventing you from being able to actually finish the game). I looked it up, and apparently it's a known bug that hasn't been patched yet. Hoping it gets patched cause I had to go watch a video of someone else finishing to see how the game actually ended which only left me a bit more confused. The game tries to play in a Purgatory/Hellscape Escape Room Vibes, which was really nicely done. I loved the changing rooms area and the jumpscares. Also loved the monster. . . But the Plot felt off. It was good for what it was tho. Definitely suggest playing if/when they fix the Red Room bug cause it was enjoyable.
