This review is purely based on the campaign, as I have not played the sandbox mode. Definitely the best transport fever game compared to transport fever 2. Really love the mechanics and all the features. Really enjoyed it when I got to know the mechanics. It might be a bit tricky in the beginning, but when you get the feel its all worth it.

Great game for anyone that is interested in city-builders or management type games! I can't say I've seen all this game has to offer after only playing it for a few days, but what I have seen is definitely enticing enough for me to continue playing for a while :D As someone who also enjoys factory type games, the ability to upgrade your transport throughout the ages and remove bottlenecks to your production lines to increase throughput are very enjoyable, and some of the small mechanics like multiple rails snapping together into one giant track, or the organic growth of cities are also very satisfying :D The only downside is that it does stress out my laptop quite a bit, and the FPS I get isn't always great
Still holds up well in 2026. There are some minor annoyances, such as a single misplaced signal making you check an entire line segment by segment instead of telling you where your line is broken, or the inability to upgrade an entire line to electric with a single click, but these are very minor things. Overall this is a well thought out game that will provide days of entertainment.
