Uncanny Tales was a really good indie horror experience! The game definitely felt a little long and drawn out in some areas, but overall I really enjoyed my time with it. The atmosphere, creepy moments, and overall concept made it well worth playing. I do wish there was a little more to the game in certain areas, but that’s mostly just personal preference. If you’re a fan of indie horror and enjoy slower, atmospheric horror experiences, Uncanny Tales is definitely worth checking out! Watch my Full playthrough: https://youtu.be/NybfSKJ47ko

Pretty good high effort indie game. Starts off as a chill forest ranger simulator and progresses right into Blair Witch territory. Pros +Good atmosphere +Bigger game and more varied gameplay than the previous 2 entries in the series +Full English voice acting this time. (whoever voiced the wife did a particularly good job) +Graphics are pretty good with the light going through the trees and birds flying overhead. It almost feels like an old graphics engine though and was surprised at the toll it took on the GPU +A few little mini games included which were amusing +Game is short, but no padding. You do various tasks, but it doesn't get boring or repetitive. +The area you get to wander around in is quite big, and thankfully the dev added a car to get around +Play the prologue (demo) for free and if you like it, buy the game and continue where you left off Cons -Minimal graphical options -No mouse sensitivity or inversion options -No keyboard rebinding. You often start your day/task with the compass missing and I was mashing all the keys to figure out how to get it back (it's TAB) Looking forward to the next Uncanny Tale

I thought this was pretty well done. I enjoyed the music, the atmosphere, the pacing didn't overdo it, the writing was good enough and it was fully voice acted. I'm not sure where all the negative reviews come from, I don't think it deserves them.

Although the ending was a bit buggy at times and the scares could have used some work, the beautiful visuals, great music and story more than made up for it.
