Unspoken throws you into fast-paced, linear horror levels where you explore, collect story fragments, and actually fight back instead of just hiding. The retro visuals and constant forward momentum make it feel tense without dragging things out. It’s great how it keeps things simple but engaging, no filler, just straight-to-the-point horror with a bit of action. The game is also very short.

Unspoken is a very short pixelated FPS horror game. The game takes you through a house, and then eventually an underground industrial area. The game takes around 30-40 minutes to complete. There are achievements and a developer's commentary which was fun to read if you want to play a second or a third time. + The atmosphere is well made. + On your first playthrough, the game is tense. Several big jump scares. + The sound effects are above average. The creepy 3D effects are well placed on headphones. + The way you check the bullets in your gun is fun. +/- The story is disturbing in parts, but it's a bit difficult to piece it all together. - The game is super short. - The game ends abruptly. - The pixelated graphics might give some a headache, it's a bit too much. It's good and fun to play, but feels like a demo, not a full real game. Overall: 6/10

>Get soft-locked because I opened a door while in a door. >Get soft-locked because I interacted with a light while interacting with a phone. >Get soft-locked because I hit the stairs wrong. >Play with "~" because the developer didn't disable it. >Play they intended, zooming. >Proceed to crash game by adding too many elements. lmao game needs work. The need for game tester is evident.

I think this is a very good game. After spending the past few weeks to 100% the game, I've been very satisfied. It's not perfect, and does lack polish, but it continues to scare me, has very fun shooting mechanics, and a pretty gripping story that is very intriguing to unravel in a short but rather intense journey. I highly recommend it if you like short free roam indie horror games, especially to see all the extra content on replay playthroughs. I'm wishing the developer the best on their future projects. :)
