Very good game, but there are a few things: - Gameplay gets very repetitive. In the end all you're doing is go from 0 to 5 and restart at 0 with wildcard resets no matter what crawlers your team consists of. - In later stages the fights on higher floors get kinda boring and feel like too many "normal" fights per stage. There should be more mini bosses, special npc fights/events and maybe even other interactive stuff, like in the binding of issac. And in general I would like less fights with more opponents per fight. - Cards should be able to be displayed sorted with a setting for different kinds of orders. Because half the time I'm just looking through my deck, searching for another tome, wildcard or redraw. Please let us group them in clusters in a sorted manner. As default I recommend from left to right in asc by mana cost. Otherwise 50% of the gameplay will just be “linear search on unsorted list”. - In later levels at floor 4-6 of the level, sometimes your hands get very big, like 50+ cards. This breaks the mouse over scroll by not being able to smoothly scroll through all cards, always skipping every other and mis-selects even if mouse hover zoom shows the correct card - There are less evolutions and abilities/items than in VS - I haven't really seen any new exclusive items/evolutions that are not in VS aside from the Gems - The Hub Navigation is terrible. We urgently need a list of all places displayed in the UI in the hub that we can click on to directly enter it. The constant spinning around is super exhausting/annoying. - Mini Map on overworld missing
8/10 Another banger as expected. The pacing feels a little too fast tho. I liked the grind and gradually becoming stronger in survivors. In this game you get pretty broken after 5-10 hours in. So the game feels really short in comparison. I know it's a different game and all, but if you compare it to other roguelike card games, you won't find another one where 20 hours will have you unlock 100%
Only complaints: -confusing exit menu requiring you to be in a specific building in the village to quit the game. -Also when you are picking things for your deck you cant see your grimoire to check what evolves with what. -In some scenarios you can't see your deck when you have to choose upgrades. Otherwise I love it.
