Vivid Knight was one of the most satisfying and replayable takes on the auto-battler formula, having more of an RPG feel than most. Vivid World feels like Vivid Knight, but with a bigger budget, english voices, a more detailed and unique artstyle, and a new cast of characters. Between this and my playtime in the Demo the game has been a huge breath of fresh air to someone whose played so much vivid knight, it feels so refined and satisfying, rewarding knowledge and adding even more depth to one of the more deceptively difficult turn based games I've played An absolute joy EDIT: 50 hours later, after finally beating the Demise, the end of the post-game (to which an even HARDER post game dungeon unlocks after..), I can safely say this is the gold standard for autochess-style autobattlers. I cannot think of a game that does it better than this, very accessible but so much extra content. Truly endlessly replayable.

This game exists to strenghten my opinion that gacha as a mechanic is genius and gacha has a monetization model is pure evil.

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that a sequel for Vivid Knight had been released on Steam. It was an easy decision to purchase this game and it has not disappointed me. It is an amazing game and improves on the first one in almost every way. I will cross my fingers that they create a mobile version of this game very soon because it will be an instant purchase for my phone as well.

Game is an amazing co op turn based auto battler. I had over 20 hours in the demo and it only got better and that doesnt happen ever these days lol Pros: - Turn based. So you can play with friends even if they are busy or working because no time limit on turns. - Alot of different options with your line up. Union, color matching, type matching plus gold orb lets you have alot of chooses when building. - New battle log lets you know what on your team is doing the most damage and if your scaling or if you have to change builds. - Meta progress and makes the game feel better everytime you start up a new round. - Seamless co op with trading and you can get to it after 15 minutes of trials. 8 characters 4 each! Cons: - Battle Log doesnt tell you heals, or damage taken yet. So you cant tell if your tank is tanking or your healer is worth it lol I hope this game gets more support and I'd even pay for DLC if they add more characters or new areas/Story. 9/10 Would be 10 with the updated battle log. Also make it so you can see the log after battle.

I've made it through the tutorial dungeon and the first 3 regular dungeons so this is a first impression after a few hours of play- That said, if you played the first game (Vivid Knight) and enjoyed it - this game simply takes the concepts and game loop of the first game and expands on it in every possible way. There are extra pieces added to the pie when it comes to customizing your team and finding synergies. There is more of a story in this game which is drip-fed to you in between runs ala Hades and it does add a lot for the game's universe/atmosphere/world-building. This is a very good, very strategic, and yet very relaxed team-builder/auto-battler. If any of that stuff sounds appealing to you, you will love this game.
