An amazing game! Awesome to see the husband needing rescue, for once. A NIGHTMARE TO 100%, HOWEVER, owing to the old-school mechanics like walls closing in on you, scrolling levels, needing to chain multiple dashes, the many collectibles, and the timer. Otherwise, a solid title: amazing art, funny story, great gameplay, all the bells and whistles. It took me some time and a lot of long breaks, but I eventually managed to finish both Normal and Magic Mode (NG+). I cannot say I regret my time with it in the least, but it definitely isn't an easy game. Also, thanks to the Community, as always, for the Collectibles guide - nice as it may be to find everything myself, I wanted to finish sometime this year (-.O) While I recover, go rescue your own husband!

Charming, it's kinda hard but there are no one up system and there are checkpoints a plenty, and after finishing the game you get god-mode wich obviously makes the game imposibly easy. Nice action plataformer, a bit hard to get all achievements but not that much, very nice character design and yeah, you're using a PG Yandere, it gets kind of brutal the shit she does to downed enemies but sincerely after the first view of that animation it's just a waste of time (it would have been nice for that to have some sort of advantage or something). And another nice thing to have would have been a cutscene theater because if you want to see cutscenes again you have to play the game from scratch again.

The main point: it is NOT a NSFW/hentai/nude game! Everyone keeps their clothes on. But due to the dialogue and thematic elements, I can't recommend it for kids under the age of 16. Parents, please use good judgement about which games you let your kids buy. But if you're mature enough to handle some adult themes, then it's a fun little platformer game. Expanded review: As a platformer, it's fun. There are a couple of spots (one specific raft in the lava level comes to mind) that are pretty challenging... but with practice and a bit of skill the game overall isn't very hard. There are even some secret areas hidden behind walls or high up on platforms that you need to unlock new abilities to reach. BUT the story is totally ridiculous and the dialogue is pretty harsh and stupid, if I'm being totally honest about it. That said, some of the dialogue is pretty suggestive. Some of the monster girls seem to have rape fantasies. One of them is an alcoholic. All of them are trying to be home-wreckers. And Mia is clearly struggling with anger management issues. Because of this, I cannot recommend this game for kids under the age of 16. |In this game, you play as Mia and you're married to Fernando, you live on a farm together. But your neighbors are "monster-girls" who are very pervy and they always kidnap Fernando and try to steal him away from you. Luckily for you, Fernando only has eyes for Mia, he is very faithful. Unfortunately, he's also very chivalrous and can't hit a woman... so those thirsty girls are able to easily tie him up and drag him all over the island!! Mia gets angry and sets out to rescue her husband from their pervy clutches. I want to be clear: this is NOT a NSFW/hentai/naked kind of game. Mia's outfit is NOT revealing at all, quite classy in fact - she wears hero armor through the whole game. And while most of the monster girls are drawn with big boobs, none of them ever get naked or do anything dirty with Fernando. They just try to get him drunk, hug him a lot, tie him up and drag him (fully clothed) around the place while Mia chases them. It's a platformer. You leave the farm and immediately you'll have to run, jump, and glide from one platform to another - sometimes riding on moving platforms, too. As you defeat the bosses, you'll earn new abilities (gliding, dashing, smashing certain walls, etc.) that will help you in your quest. And along the way to each boss, you'll find a bunch of other monster-girls in your way. You'll have to hit them with your sword a few times, then knock them down and do a finisher move on each one. Your finisher will be different for each type of monster-girl, and after your first time using the move you'll be able to watch it from the "Extras" menu whenever you want to. The moves are choke-holds and leg-locks and similar stuff that you might see in a WWE wrestling match. But again - everyone is fully clothed and nothing "dirty" ever happens.

Both embracing and making fun of its roots as a hentai game (I mean really, the image gallery says everything) Wife Quest is the Blazing Saddles of its genre. If Blazing Saddles was only amusing as opposed to gutbustingly funny. Embark on an epic quest to rescue your husband from a harem of thirsty monster thots! Slay and maim hordes of women as desperate as they are smoking hot. Everyone down to the shopkeeper wants him, but only YOU get him! Hail monogamy!
