This game is not even close to done; 80% of the story is missing. Still, what's here is already extremely good. If you want a complete story, buy CrossCode instead-- it's made by the same devs, plays similarly, and is equally thrilling and engaging. For context: CrossCode is easily one of the best games ever made, so good it's arguably better than all-time classics like Terranigma and Secret of Mana. Therefore, considering what's already in Alabaster Dawn's Early Access version, in addition to what they made previously, I can safely bet on this game becoming one of my all-time favorites when it is completed.

careful.... if you buy this game.... you WILL spend 6+ hours straight playing............. plan accordingly.......... crosscode has a special place in my heart. guess who bought this game within 5 minutes of the release announcement. no regrets

Cross Code was a special game for me, had to get this day one. Love Radical Fish. Alabaster Dawn & Cross Code have perfectly encompassed that 16-bit nostalgia blended with current gen. As someone who grew up in the days of the SNES, Its like Radical Fish made these 2 games for me. And I love them for it.... Cheers Mates!!

Play the demo. Buy the game. One of the best retro style games you will find. Good level design, polished gameplay mechanics, great art and vibe. Only negative is having to wait 2+ years for 1.0.
