Short, spooky and unique. This game made me feel like I was reliving my early 90s childhood nightmares. Even though there are no entities or monsters, this game manages to give you a very creepy and eerie feeling as you play it. Do know that it's a walking simulator, and there is little to engage with. There were certainly a few moments where my skin crawled playing this game. If you have an interest in liminal spaces, this game is worth the play. It takes roughly just under 2 hours to complete this game. If you're trying to get every ticket, it will take you longer. But there are no achievements for gathering the tickets. So you're probably doing it for your own enjoyment of the game. The biggest downside of this game is the ticket system. It can distract you from the immersion. I found some of the levels a bit repetitive. The developer definitely hits the liminal space feel, but the game mechanics and enjoyment aren't going to get as high of a rating. Is it worth $10? Yeah. Just know you're only getting about 2 hours of playtime out of it. I'd probably grab it on sale for $5 though.

Anemoiapolis offers a liminal experience that stands out from most others. I finished the game with a strange, lingering feeling. In some ways, it feels slightly unfinished and unfocused, and the decision to have players hunt for tickets to progress might not be the best fit for this type of game. However, after playing other liminal games, I found myself constantly comparing them to Anemoiapolis. This game has a unique mood, an unparalleled atmosphere, and a variety of liminal environments that are currently unmatched by any other title in the genre. If you’re considering purchasing it, know that it isn’t without its flaws. But if you can look past them, you’re in for a liminal experience that you won’t soon forget.

idk what all this hate is about. I liked everything about it. If you like liminal spaces this is one of the best games out right now about them. You might be concerned about how short the game is...but there's SO MUCH content in this time that it really feels like enough. It's beautiful and there really are NO jumpscares so you don't need to worry about that. Just a super good game!

The best liminal game, better than pools in my opinion. I love the idea of finding tickets to unlock other levels, they can really expand on this framework and make this game something truly amazing

*** Pros *** - Great backrooms vibes. The developer nailed how the backrooms feels. - Diverse levels. I love the variety, even if some of them are shorter than others (more on that later). - Decently priced. For $10 you can get a simple backrooms game with good liminal vibes. *** Cons *** - Not enough content. The story ends on a cliffhanger, and now we're just waiting for more. - Short levels. Some of the levels just feel small. I love how they are laid out, but there are areas that are clearly unfinished. I think they could be polished and expanded on more. Overall, I would recommend it as it has a lot of promise and is currently a good game to play through at the moment.
