Pre 1.0 Fun game, beat it in 5 hours. Worth the 12 bucks for the fun in that time window. Look forward to act 2. Would ask dev to remove time sinks, like making you watch the intro movie every time (even with a skip, its annoying) and request a animation time multiplier for everything, not just combat. Some people do not want to read the story or wait for animations, and just play the core game quickly. Post 1.0 Meh
It is a fairly good game, very little is missing from being VERY good game. The Good: - tactical choices during battle (positioning, skill order) - skill variety and ingenuity (vital link, summoning, dashing, obstacles...) - meta progression is allright (not too strong, but it attracts you to grinding) - map choices (quest, shop, boss, events, enemy) - difficulty - it is bloody difficult, in 14hrs I finished on easiest difficulty the 2nd act in a countless attempts [but I like that!], and I had completed approx 50% meta The Bad: - not enough information about enemies!!! Im not alone complaining about this and devs promised in forum to address. But for now, you dont know what to expect from enemies in terms of type of attack and distance - the game start is always same, you cannot choose heroes, even though later in the game more classes can join or get replaced - lack of content (game says there are two acts, but all they differ is in the enemy difficulty), - the map events turn usually into normal fights so effectively you are loosing one node in world map - there could be even more skills and items to equip So while I had 14hours of fun with this game, I had some frustration with The Bad. Perhaps some of it will get addressed, perhaps more content will be added, in which case I will gladly return to this game once again.
