It' a pretty good ARPG, the game gets easy pretty fast, I had to turn up the difficulty twice while playing to keep it from feeling easy.

Ok.. it gets a yes because its a polished game, and some may enjoy it. I did not have fun playing it, because on Normal I went GOD mode too quickly, and I literally just walked through enemies. It feels like my choices didn't matter for 80% of the game, and just picking higher stats is all I did to win... Walk + AOE and repeat... over and over again.

Imagine a pixelized Diablo 2 with better movement mechanics and you have arrived at Chronicon. The flow of the game is nice, with even some obvious takeaways from the golden classic D2. The class customization is wonderfully done, the only weird curve ball for me at the beginning was building the items from Left to Right as opposed to the normal Top to Bottom approach for skill customization. A few nuances, such as changing settings for LT and the toggle button for loot names on the ground as well as actions for ultimates later in game, adjusting HUD size (it defaults to a painfully tiny font, but i really appreciate the amount of customizations in settings), and filtering loot are important, but manageable. The classes all have subclasses, which make it even more personalizable, and some of the skills even feed off of eachother, which is nice late-game. The couch CO-OP is awesome. 4 Players at the same time! I have no idea why its so hard to find a good 4P RPG, but this is a good one. Enemies are varied, cool random events, straightforward town interaction (with a sell all useless junk button included), AND all players can access menu at the same time. I will call this what it is, which is an excellent addition to any RPG lover's collection. Great Job. Im giving it a solid 4.99999999/5

5 minutes of "WTF is this?" 15 minutes of "Oh, I think I get it, but..." Eventually, you start to see synergies and start trying totally different build ideas. It's amazing. Easily worth it on sale. So many streamlines and conveniences, with customizable auto loot, filters, etc.

38 hours in, starting the endgame grind for legendary's runes and working towards getting the DLC quest reached. Still have some more grinding to do, and runes to get to put my build together. This game is a hidden gem and just found out about it like 4 days ago and I'm totally hooked. Already this game within 38 hours of playing has been worth the money for the base game and DLC's IMO. I 100% recommend the game.
