The game was recently updated to take a different approach, while the "story" remains the same. The devs are fixing the bugs and are active, I have high hopes for the game, as it already has a very good foundation. Good and interesting story, visuals are great, maps/locations/environments are well crafted, challenging but not too much.
This game is part Alice and Wonderland hellscape, part full on Mythical Piracy. AND I AM HERE FOR IT! Even just as an early access title, it is stupendous and hilarious. I was floored from scene to scene just in the first 4 hours. It has some minor straightforward pathing before it branches out into the main game. Characters are flavorful, the villain is diabolical, and the art is out-of-this-plane imaginative. 10/10 you should support this stupendous pirate fever dream.
