What a fantastic indie game. The artstyle is pretty adorable and neat. What sells this game from other Metroidvanias is the time loop mechanic. The progression is a puzzle itself as you have to reach certain areas at certain days then loop back to see the changes in that area.
This game is so interesting, it does the timeloop gimmick really well with a variety of very unique movement and abilities, but be prepared for a lot of backtracking and somewhat unclear directions. And the world and characters are still charming despite how rough the EN transaltion is. My biggest gripe is mostly on sfx and music. The music can range from fine to actually good, but for some reason the game keeps resetting my music volume down. The sfx for hits is fine but tends to not feel too satisfying since it feels more like popping bubbles instead of actually hitting something. The combat is fast and engaging, plus you get a lot of unique spirits and can change your loadout freely and specs to try out different styles. But some spirits feel way better than others and its a bit of a shame that some antique eggs are just repeats. Personally I just spammed SP and used one round boi and Mei to just sweep through most content. Rn, I'm working towards Ending B so I might update this later, but so far this game has been very enjoyable. It's a nice experience, especially for any metroidvania fans. A solid 8/10 Update: Just finished Ending B, they really need to nerf Billowing.
Really fun game. I love the combat system and the fast paced boss fights. The power ups are really interesting and make the exploration really fun and the time mechanic make it so you have to plan your rote carefully. Kinda wish there was more combat music though. 9/10 game.
Very well made non-linear metroidvania supported by easy to figure out sequence breaks that feel natural. Animation, music as well as the overall controll scheme is a bit rough around the edges, but that didn't hamper my overall enjoyment. Also one of the few metroidvanias that makes backtracking fun instead of tedious. Be warned tho, that it might take roughly 1 hour to fully get into the game, but when it clicks, it clicks really good. Also combat can be very fast paced while playing aggressive feels very rewarding. With the right setup and by sticking to a boss like glue, you can shred bosses in seconds. Overall difficulty was around 6-7 out of 10. Recommend buyng it at full price
Good Metroidvania overall and the time mechanic they used was novel. Combat was never really complicated/complex, but movement felt good and exploration was always fun. It did have a couple of drawbacks. The music, which usually never stands out to me, was pretty crappy. And while I enjoyed my playthrough, I never figured out how to get the true ending. I get that it involves ringing hard to reach dragon bells, but there are not any guides out on the game at the moment (one guy on YouTube made great videos, but I'm not watching 6 hours of content just to figure out which NPC I missed talking to to get the bell quest thing properly started).
