Very well made non-linear metroidvania supported by easy to figure out sequence breaks that feel natural. Animation, music as well as the overall controll scheme is a bit rough around the edges, but that didn't hamper my overall enjoyment. Also one of the few metroidvanias that makes backtracking fun instead of tedious. Be warned tho, that it might take roughly 1 hour to fully get into the game, but when it clicks, it clicks really good. Also combat can be very fast paced while playing aggressive feels very rewarding. With the right setup and by sticking to a boss like glue, you can shred bosses in seconds. Overall difficulty was around 6-7 out of 10. Recommend buyng it at full price

Good Metroidvania overall and the time mechanic they used was novel. Combat was never really complicated/complex, but movement felt good and exploration was always fun. It did have a couple of drawbacks. The music, which usually never stands out to me, was pretty crappy. And while I enjoyed my playthrough, I never figured out how to get the true ending. I get that it involves ringing hard to reach dragon bells, but there are not any guides out on the game at the moment (one guy on YouTube made great videos, but I'm not watching 6 hours of content just to figure out which NPC I missed talking to to get the bell quest thing properly started).

8.5/10. For a $9 indie it was so much more than expected. It was a lot like Hollow Knight in execution, but with (in my opinion) more creative movement abilities, plus an Ender Lillies-like "harness the powers of your enemies" system and a cute-as-a-button art style. The little circle hands kill me, so adorable. The challenge ramped up pretty quickly and was satisfying throughout, my only major complaints are that there wasn't really enough story to fill the runtime (a little over 20 hours) and the sound design + OST were a bit bland. It was a great Metroidvania, though. I'm glad I played it.

A hidden gem that came out of nowhere. Very unique time loop mechanic that I haven't seen in any other metroidvnia as of yet. The English localization improved a lot and the beginning might be confusing but after the first 2 loops, basically serving as a tutorial the game just give you a goal and set you loose on the world. Took me a while to understand to actual mechanic of the 5 days loop and you have to plan your route around that. Some item, NPC, boss and events only happens on a specific day so you have to plan your route for each loop or just exploring around. Haven't been forced to go out there and explore the world this game since Silksong. Many unique abilities like wall jump that can essentially function as a early double jump, same with upper cut/fist until you can actually get double jump. Combat wise, you only have one swipe attack but combine with the 20+ spirits summon you can use (i just mainly switching between 3 spirits that I found most useful), and many unique platforming and exploring challenges. This is such a great metroidvania that I recommend for any MV fan. It might not be for everyone but who can actually understand the mechanic will enjoy it a lot. A tier MV

I love Metroidvanias and I love timeloops, so this game immediately piqued my interest. And boy did it exceed my expectations. The premise was really well implemented and executed. For me that was the biggest highlight of the game. The timeloop mechanic may seem daunting but is actually pretty easy to understand. The game really gives you the tools to figure it out before it lets go of your hand to explore for yourself. The time-map really helps to easily see where you have to go or what you have to do to progress. At first I didn't really vibe with the gameplay itself, but the premise made me push through and I'm so happy it did, because when I got used to the gameplay it felt really great. Exploration is another thing this game excels in. There were so many secrets to find, so many things to explore, so many shortcuts to discover... I never felt frustrated getting lost because I just loved wandering around and searching for new paths to open up. While I completed the game, I'm pretty sure there's still tons of things I missed that don't count towards that completion. This game also has a few unique abilities, which I always appreciate. After playing my fair share of Metroidvanias I always love it when a game doesn't only stick to the regulars like dash or double jump, despite those being great abilities. The main characters feels smooth to control so it was really fun to use all her unique abilities and stringing them together. With her moveset the map opens up really quickly and at times it just felt like I was sequencebreaking all over the place. I don't know for sure if it was sequencebreaking, but it felt like I was getting to places I shouldn't be able to get yet and I love that. I think that's because a lot of platforming challenges had so many different ways to approach them and the game really rewards thinking out of the box and using the abilities you have in different ways. For example there was a point where I thought I shouldn't be able to get because there was stuff in the way I had no way of traversing with yet. But I used the abilities I had to kind of cheese it and when I got to the other side I found the ability to traverse that stuff, so it was definitely intended to go there even though it seemed like it wasn't. This game really lets you have your own playstyle and I love that freedom. Combat is fine, with normal enemies it works well and I especially loved the ouro attack. However I wasn't really vibing with most bosses, most of them I found forgettable or just not fun. It did what it had to do so it was fine, but not a highlight for me. The game does have long loading times, especially when you go in or out of a house. It was no exception that I had to wait 5 to 10 seconds before I could continue. Not the worst thing ever, just a bit annoying. Another thing I found a bit weirdly implemented was that in certain rooms there was no wall or anything at ground level so it seemed like there was a transition, but it wasn't. Again nothing huge but at times it took me a bit out of the flow. A bigger nitpick is that backtracking is a slog. There are fast travel points, but if you want to explore a new branch on the timeline you have to manually walk from the latest fast travel point in that branch, meaning at times you had to walk really far going through the same areas over and over again with little changes to the world around you. And last but not least, while the map was fine and had customable pins (always a must have in my opinion) the pins and names are way to big in comparison to the map, so it got hard to read and a bit overwhelming pretty soon. All in all I really liked this game for being an unique Metroidvania, both in abilities as in premise and gameplay. Definitely worth to check it out imho.
