Sick and tired of seeing good/decent games being trashed with mixed reviews because of some crybabies. Is this game perfect? No Is this game a revolution in the souls genre? No Does it constantly run at 1,000,000 fps? Maybe not, but c'mon, it's barely noticeable. Is it fun to play? Yes Is it worth the money (considering it's prety much always on sale 50%)? Yes Is my wife cheating on me when she goes to her yoga classes? Who knows. But this game helps me not to think about that, it is that good.

Not quite as good as Lies of P but still worth playing in my opinion. Cons: 1. Poor optimization, though thankfully I didn't notice during boss fights. 2. Some repeated bosses, similar to Lords of the Fallen (2023) Pros: 1. Satisfying combat if you enjoy parrying. 2. Bosses feel well designed and telegraph their attacks. 3. Good level design, both in terms of visuals and layout. The game manages to feel less linear than Lies of P. 4. Nice visuals and atmosphere. Doesn't feel dreary and dark and each area is very visually distinct. Overall pretty solid.

I think most of the negativity for the game comes from unpolished aspects and some jank gameplay/mechanics. Overall nothing is *wrong* and there is a lot of cool stuff in the game. The art design is fantastic, the music is beautiful and its nice to play a souls-like that doesn't take place in gloomy castle #34. If these people made another souls-like using things they learned here, I think it could be really good.

I would recommend this game to any enjoyer of the soulsborne genre. I enjoyed it so much that I did all the achievements of the game. Sure it has its bugs, but the combat, gameplay, color palates, music and level/boss designs make up for that by far. Give the game and the devs a chance.

Get it, just not now. The game is good, some aspects are exceptionally well done, is fun and enjoyable. Some small bugs may hamper your playing experience, some achievements are bugged and unachievable. The developers have published a roadmap to fix the faulty aspects, come back and get it once all bugs have been fixed, is a must have. If you plan to get it before all the fixes, wait for a discount.
