Dark Souls Remastered is easily one of the most unforgettable gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Everything about this game feels carefully crafted, from the haunting atmosphere to the incredible sense of discovery that comes with exploring its world. The OST is absolutely phenomenal. Most of the time the world is quiet, which makes the moments when the music finally appears during boss fights feel incredibly powerful. The orchestral tracks give every major encounter a legendary feeling, like you’re part of something ancient and important. The world design and scenery are just as amazing. Every location feels unique and memorable. From ruined castles to dark forests and mysterious underground areas, the environments constantly make you stop and look around. The interconnected world design is genius — opening shortcuts and realizing how everything connects together never stops being satisfying. And of course, the boss fights are iconic. Each boss feels like a true test of your patience, skill, and understanding of the game. Learning their patterns, adapting your strategy, and finally overcoming them creates some of the most satisfying moments in gaming. The fights are challenging but fair, and every victory feels earned. My experience: I played the first half of the game using the Claymore, and the second half using the Greatsword, which honestly made the game even more fun. Switching between these weapons changed the feel of combat and kept everything fresh. When I reached the final boss, Gwyn, Lord of Cinder, I was using the Greatsword but it was only +5, so I spent about three hours trying to defeat him without success. After upgrading my weapon, I came back and defeated him on my second attempt.
