From Frontier is a great adult JRPG by Doubles Core, and published by OTAKU Plan. It’s an RPG Maker game and it doesn’t do anything to break that mold, but what it does do is give you a ton of content. This game is all about side quests, to the extent that it feels like a Western sandbox style RPG. You play as a down on his luck fellow who travels with a runaway monster girl princess to an island nation where monsters and humans are meant to live in peace. You start setting up outposts and going on quests. You travel here with one monster girl, but meet nine others that all become part of your adventure harem. Adult content is still images and requires a patch from the OTAKU Plan website. There are ten monster girls to woo… Succubus (bat girl) Harpy (bird girl) Fairy (moth girl) Mermaid (fish girl) Vampire (goth girl) Kobold (puppy girl) Basilisk (spider girl) Slime (gummy girl) Mandrake (flower girl) Mimic (treasure chest girl) You start the game with the succubus and I would say that hers feels like the main story, but every girl has there own story and their own unique ending. There’s also a “no girl” ending giving a possible eleven, and the game makes it easy to see them all, reminding you to save your game each time that you are about to enter into an ending sequence. As you explore the world and build outposts and meet monster girls, you open dozens of side quests and they are all fun. This game feels epic and I highly recommend it. Nine out of Ten. Pros: Huge Amount of content. Engaging side quests. Good character customization. Easy to navigate. Cons: Combat can get repetitive. External Patch Needed.
