🌸 Garden In! Review 🪴 A stunningly beautiful game! I loved growing all the different plants—each one felt unique. Even the same plant could grow in different ways, adding a lovely touch of variety. You could fill an entire room with just one type of plant, yet each would have its own distinct look! I was pleasantly surprised to find you can also decorate rooms with furniture. I initially thought the focus was purely on plant-growing, but designing cosy and cute spaces made me incredibly happy. I love games that allow decorating, so this was a wonderful addition! (Made a gaming space) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3427210310 Alongside growing plants and decorating, there are challenges to complete that unlock new furniture and special seasonal items like Halloween and Christmas-themed decorations. These are all available to unlock—you just choose which one to work on, earning new flower seeds and furniture as rewards. (My garden, with cozy picnic area, farm and plenty plants) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3426647346 I did encounter a few bugs, such as the watering can/spray bottle not always working, daily quest flowers not registering progress until restarting the game, and plants continuing to grow while the game was closed but later stopping once I unlocked more rooms. This made growing plants slower, requiring AFK time to help them along. The art style is adorable and sweet, and the in-game music is wonderfully relaxing. The achievements are easy, though they took some time due to the plant growth bug I encountered. Overall, Garden In! is a delightful and soothing game. Enjoy growing your beautiful plants 💐 Tip: If you want to find more reviews like this, check out our curator page [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41527689/]Moon's Tea House

UPDATE: The devs listened!! I unlocked the new watering and bug spray cans so I'd be able to update my review. Once unlocked, you will now have the ability to water and spray plants within a small radius, which is a huge help for just wanting to use this as a chill game after completion! I would certainly recommend getting this game now, the grind will feel much more worth it in the end now that you're not hand-watering/spraying 100+ plants every time you load in. Thankful they listened, now hopeful for potential great updates in the future! ... I do enjoy this game enough to rate it a thumbs up, HOWEVER, there are some pretty big flaws that may make this game completely unenjoyable for some people. I teetered on its rating and finished almost every achievement before deciding. You start with a few plants, each having different requirements. You breed these plants together to create new breeds, and continue until you've unlocked them all. You start in one room, and as you unlock, get more rooms and furniture to decorate with. The art is beautiful, so is the music, I love every plant and it's a lot of fun being able to decorate. Now, here's where people may not be so happy. This game is VERY grindy, and not at all an "idle" game like the creators seem to market it as. You need to be CONSTANTLY breeding new seeds, watering, and spraying if you want to get anywhere. Even after returning just an hour later, all your plants will be withered and infested. It takes unbelievably long to water and spray them all, and the controls are finicky enough as it is (even on keyboard). They also don't grow if they're in this state, so they're stunted until you fix it. It makes you just simply ignore them after they're grown, which means they look kinda ugly. So what's the point? This is such a big flaw, especially as a late game player with all 4 rooms, that I may not really touch this game once I've finished redecorating. I would LOVE to be able to just sit with this game open and chill with the nice music, but I can't when I see the plants actively withering before my eyes with flies around them. Even a "Water All" after you unlock the "Water 500 Plants" achievement or SOMETHING. ANYTHING. For me, it was well worth the money for the art and 15hrs active time I put into it, I just wish it could be actually idle. And if watering and spraying genuinely every time you open the game (or they don't grow) seems like a bit more than you were hoping for, I'd say wait until they hopefully release some sort of fix for that. But definitely add it to your wishlist until then.

Garden In! is a relaxing gardening simulator where you grow and discover all kinds of unique plants. The art and music of this game are cozy and easy to get immersed in, and I really enjoyed unlocking all of the different kinds of plants. Many of them were unexpectedly silly or super cool, making them a delight to grow. I do wish there was more direction or more goals in this game, as the beginning feels a bit directionless at times, but I had fun chasing most of the achievements and decorating my environments with the many furniture options. This is the kind of game you check in on for a few minutes at a time every few hours, and knowing that beforehand would have been helpful, but once I knew what this was it was a pleasant experience that I would recommend for those seeking more casual cozy experiences.

//ON THE FENCE. It's not bad. But I have to note: I'm very disappointed that although they say "it counts the time even when you are offline," it does not. You can just spam the game on and off for the same effect. The plants don't grow past 1 level no matter how long you are offline (guess there's a threshold?). Idk, I expected that they'd implement that detail as it's mentioned during the tutorial, and that's the whole purpose of idle games. But they didn't, at least not yet.
